Everyone hates the randomness in scouting trips and coach calls in finding out player info...how about having two types of each..."head coach scouting trips" and "assistant coach scouting trips", head coach calls and assistant coach calls, etc.

The head coach moves would be more expensive, and provide the same amount of recruiting "power" (i.e. from the recruit's perspective theyre worth the same), however you'd get all the info you need in one shot.

I really like this idea.  But on the scouting trips, you shouldn't be able to get ALL on the info on one trip. Maybe 1 attribute per trip, but you could chhose the attribute that you get the info on?

I think the lesser scouting trip would never get used except when teams run out of money and are in panic mode.

I would use the cheaper one every time for pulling recruits down, because in that scenario I am throwing 10+ trips at him hoping to pul him down and I assume I will get the info I need. I like this idea.

I would be 100% against anything that lowered the cost of the current eval

The assistant coach SV doesn't have to be cheaper than what's in place now, just the head coach one is more expensive.

What if the HC sv were 3x as expensive as the AC sv?

I put a question/suggestion for today's chat about the same thing.  

Could a "complete" evaluation be offered that returned the potential for all categories and may cost somewhere around 4 evaluations or 1 campus visit.

In real life, when a coach or asst coach goes and evaluates a player, he evaluates ALL of the players abilities. Now I know for the game we have partial evaluations and I agree with this, but having a HC eval that would find out everything but be 3x or 4x the cost would be fine. (But it should be 5X IMO)

They would have the same value from the recruit's perspective, so the added cost is purely for informational purposes

I think you could even give a greater (but not full-$-value better) weight to HC evals vs AC evals. 

Isn't it a bigger deal if Roy Williams visits your gym than if Steve Robinson does? 

Also, these could be limited per session (each HC gets 1 per cycle, total, or 10 total for recruiting, or something like that). 

Did someone bring this question up for todays Q&A?

That's a good point.  The cost could be like the cost of  2 or 3 CV's in that case.
