what is the chance of a player quitting in protest, if you rescind a scholarship of a player you recruited? the player i want to rescind is a soph, and there are 2 other sophs i really don't want to leave. ive never tried it. have any of you tried it? how'd it go?

I've rescinded my own guys maybe 5 times. Never had blowback. 5 is not a large sample.

From what I've been told, there's less than a 10% chance that this occurs. The only time I did it (awhile ago), there wasn't any blowback. 

I think the odds increase greatly if you cut more than 1 guy...

Interesting, I didn't know that could even happen.  I've rescinded my own players at least a dozen times over the years and never had another guy get mad about it.  I've never done more than 1 at a time like that, though.

I lost a fourth guy when I cut three in a brush-clearing incident taking over a new team.  I've never cut more than one of my own guys at once, but that's the only time it's ever happened to me.

I would agree with this. I have lost an unintended guy 2x. Both times I was cutting multiple players on a new team.
