1.  "And the Orioles pitching continues to dominate..."
Have you looked at the entire decade of the 70s (and early 80s) for the Orioles' franchise? They had some solid staffs back then

"That Ryan Leaf guy is a solid role model and a real class act."
"Jamarcus Russell is in great shape."

I know it's a joke, but Melo gets a bad wrap for no real reason. For example he took 18.6 shots per game this season averaged 3.6 assists a game and 2.6 TOs, Durant took 19.7 shots per game, 3.5 assists, and led the NBA with 3.8 TOs per game.

I can't believe this thread hasn't had any Yogi Berra quotes yet. Here are some of my favorites.

You should always go to other people's funerals. Otherwise they won't come to yours.

I knew I was going to take the wrong train, so I left early.

Never answer an anonymous letter.

Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded.

I knew exactly where it was, I just couldn't find it.

You better cut the pizza in four pieces. I'm not hungry enough to eat eight.

You can observe a lot just by watching.

Once, Yogi's wife Carmen asked, "Yogi, you are from St. Louis, we live in New Jersey, and you played ball in New York. If you go before I do, where would you like me to have you buried?" To this, Yogi replied, "Surprise me."

After catching both games of a doubleheader on a particularly hot day, Yogi stopped to shake hands with fans. He was introduced to NY Mayor Filorello La Guardia and his wife. Mrs. La Guardia commented that Yogi looked very cool on such a hot day. Yogi replied, "Well you don't look so hot yourself."

A man stumbles up to the only other patron in a bar and asks if he could buy him a drink.

"Why of course", comes the reply.

The first man then asks: "Where are you from?"

"I'm from Ireland," replies the second man.

The first man responds: "That's amazing! I'm from Ireland too! Let's have another round for Ireland." And they have another drink.

Curious, the first man then asks: "Where in Ireland are you from?"

"Dublin" replies the second man.

"I can't believe it" says the first man, "I'm from Dublin also! Let's have another drink for Dublin."

So they have yet another drink.

The first man then asks: "What school did you go to?"

"Saint Mary's," replies the second man, "Class of '71."

"That's amazing!" the first man says, "I went to Saint Mary's and graduated in '71 too!"

About that time, one of the regulars comes in and asks the Bartender "What's been going on?"

"Nothing much" replies the bartender... "Except the O'Reilly twins are drunk again".

It's a difference in how it looks.  There's a pretty 3.5 APG, and there's an ugly way.  At least when he was in Denver, he would literally hold the ball, lean on his man, stand up, lean again, then think about what to do, and took up 1/3rd of the shot clock standing there.

Well Melo is also a horrid defender which is why his "time will never come" and Durant can defend well actually.
