What's more dapper than a penguin? Not a duck, but it has a better ring to it.

There you go.

I'm always at the gym, a lot of times 2 times a day and compete in the IFBB.  I smell a lot like a dirty gym sock a lot, so Hogstench made sense when I created this a couple of years ago.  Nice thing at work, I have whatifsports open all day.  I creep on the forums and what all is said, I'm a smelly a creeper

my name is an homage to the ny city firemen who died on 911 - I grew up in new york and knew some guys in the department, but have no other specific connection to it

the number 343 stunned me and remains with me

My original username was barranjoey, named after Barranjoey Head in Sydney, Australia.  (There is historical confusion about the spelling, which is not interesting.)  It's pretty stunning:

An Olympic sailor from there named his boat Barranjoey and won a gold medal with it in the '64 Olympics.  He was 59!

I was born in Sydney so when I was a kiddo I named my little sailboat after the Olympian's.  Mine was less quick though.  Here is the original in action.

I spent a couple of years away from whatifsports, and when I returned felt that a new user i.d. was in order.  Point Piper is the neighborhood we lived in after I was born.

These threads were always fun in sim league baseball forums b/c in that game you get to name all your teams too.

First name is Ryan, friends always called me Ry growing up.

I ran cross country and track through high school and college, so threw "run" on the end - say it fast and it still sorta sounds like Ryan.

Mine goes back a few decades to the early days of fantasy baseball in the mid 80's.
The name of my ficticious team was the Northern Albuquerque Dukes.  I really just wanted the initials so the fans could chant Go-NADs!  At least this was amusing to a young Iguana.

I had assembled somewhat of a powerhouse but then one by one, Dwight Gooden, LaMarr Hoyt, Daryl Strawberry all ran into legal issues over drug use.

Well mid-season the team picked up and moved from picturesque law abiding Northern Albuquerque to the seemingly lawless city of Tijuana.  I hadn't been there but had heard the stories.  But the Tijuana Dukes just didn't have the right sound to it.  Although the crowd loved chanting Vaya Testiculos.

Thus was born the Tijuana Iguanas.

This thread is great, so much thought and creativity put into some of these names!

Graduated from the university of Wisconsin in 1993.  Initials are RJL.  Not very clever, especially compared to some of you.

I've always liked the number 47.  For some reason I seem to notice it everywhere and it seems like any time any form of media or someone is coming up with a fairly large random number they use that one.

I had a reason for the there was but have long sense forgot.

florida state's old email system used to take your initials with a random series of 4 numbers following and generate an FSU email address. if you didn't have a middle initial, your last name initial got used twice. until i got to FSU, i was split between being a canes fan and a nole (screen names used to be hurrinole). when reality struck that i wasn't going to a private school, i dropped UM for the POS school that it is (until i came back to UM for law school - doh!) and just used jtt8355 as my handle for most public websites like this one...
