I've always liked the number 47.  For some reason I seem to notice it everywhere and it seems like any time any form of media or someone is coming up with a fairly large random number they use that one.

A few March Madnesses ago, I reached my tipping point for my dislike of Jay Bilas' overuse of the "eye test" in analyzing teams. I created theeyetest as a personal spiting of Bilas. I made it to the Elite 8, and the name stuck. I have grown to like it. I have not grown to like Bilas.

While mine looks straightforward, it actually is a complicated story. My real name is Alvin Rogers. The first 'T' is for Texas and was selected to honor the Texas War for Independence. I wanted to use TEX but all of the variations were taken. The 'IM' represents my love of instant messaging. 'HUN' represents my ancestry in the Volga River Valley, I supposedly am related to Bleda the Hun (brother of Atilla the Hun) through the lineage of his wife. Bleda died in 455, leaving Atilla the sole leader of the Huns. I finished out the name because Tim Hunter is my favorite NHL player of all time.

Actually, I just used my name and stuck 44 after it.

OBVIOUSLY. but for the love of god - or should i say, for the love of beer - please pick a less awesome beer! or at least, one readily available in my area! i had a few abita ambers a few months back during the NCAA tourney, and then a few more, and then... well you get the picture. but they don't have it at my local drive throughs or gas stations or anything :( ever since then, every time u post, i want one. since i dont have one, i move on to my second choice - crack. it is YOUR fault now, yours and yours alone, that i am addicted to crack. ya bastard!

while not my favorite, bilas is nothing compared to seth davis!! he is that perfect combination of stupid and arrogant that makes me just want to gouge his eyes out. i feel like he is there in march madness for 2 reasons - 1, to make the other sports casters look smarter, and 2 - to give you someone to despise. every reality show about nothing (which is most of them) has at least one crazy *******/*****/etc. why? people like to go, wow, that is one MESSED UP mother ******! it just makes people feel better about themselves. and, a lot of people like to hate someone, it spices things up. well, thats why seth davis exists. it just ****** me off he gets paid presumably well to be such a useless tool. but i guess that just works into the hating thing them, which is exactly what the network wants. i suppose it would be hard to find SUCH a useless tool who also looks so much like a weiner. but that shouldn't make you lots of money! i hope he gets kicked in the balls a lot.
