A few March Madnesses ago, I reached my tipping point for my dislike of Jay Bilas' overuse of the "eye test" in analyzing teams. I created theeyetest as a personal spiting of Bilas. I made it to the Elite 8, and the name stuck. I have grown to like it. I have not grown to like Bilas.
while not my favorite, bilas is nothing compared to seth davis!! he is that perfect combination of stupid and arrogant that makes me just want to gouge his eyes out. i feel like he is there in march madness for 2 reasons - 1, to make the other sports casters look smarter, and 2 - to give you someone to despise. every reality show about nothing (which is most of them) has at least one crazy *******/*****/etc. why? people like to go, wow, that is one MESSED UP mother ******! it just makes people feel better about themselves. and, a lot of people like to hate someone, it spices things up. well, thats why seth davis exists. it just ****** me off he gets paid presumably well to be such a useless tool. but i guess that just works into the hating thing them, which is exactly what the network wants. i suppose it would be hard to find SUCH a useless tool who also looks so much like a weiner. but that shouldn't make you lots of money! i hope he gets kicked in the balls a lot.
I spit out my coffee while  reading this, CBG.

Skip Bayless and Steven A Smith are awful.

And then ESPN throws them together on First Take (or whatever it's called), making that the least watchable show on TV for me.  Except there's always a small bit of hope that they'll beat the living crap out of each other, which would be the most watchable show on TV.

+1 more.  Did you ever see that political show Crossfire, where douchebags who didn't agree on anything yelled their opinions at each other?  Not discussion, just shrieking.  It was awful.  I want to know who is responsible for thinking "I know, add sports."  Aaaaaaaargh.

Now I need a Tylenol just from the thought of those two poodles yapping.

He's such a contrarian, goating blowhard, I too can't stand him....*awaits irony/comparison statements* lol

This conversation sort of derailed from the original topic. My username is a nickname from a place I used to work. One Christmas, my company had a gift exchange (it was actually a used cd exchange). I forgot to bring a cd to exchange, so I had to be a spectator. One coworker wanted to call me "the spectator", but then I came back with "I am Spectarticus"; a mashup of spectator and an oft quoted line from a movie we all liked at the time. If you think the line came from the movie Spartacus, you would be wrong. At the time, I only knew about it from the movie "That Thing You Do".

You've mellowed!  You have to tell me what strain you started getting from the dispensary.

llamanunts is a great story
It's the plural of "llamanunt", of course.

St. Patrick's was about two days before I joined the site. On that day while drunk in a crowded pub, for some random reason a friend and I proceeded to cover the whole table of the booth we were sitting in with a single layer of nachos. We thought it was awesome, but after leaving the table while still in earshot we heard some stressed-out waitress yell, "What the F*** is this, a nacho puzzle or something?". Which only made us die laughing and affirm that it actually was as awesome as we thought.

My nickname is because I am Pete and flexable is purposely spelled wrong because as opposed to be being flexible as in you can contort me into many shapes and forms it is meant to be flex able. As in I am able to be flexible in thought and deed. Hence flexablepete. I really wanted flexablegreek because I am Greek but wouldn't let that many letters

I have a Greek friend who has been in the U.S. for 2 years.  He was worried when he saw rats in his back yard....."strange rats, with fuzzy tails like a squirrel".   They were chipmunks.
