So let me get this right.....Does that mean there has effectively been no change in the redshirting process? The only thing that doesn't change is the accept or reject? I didn't think a player could "reject" a redshirt, that he could only display his displeasure through a WE decrease. Is there a cutoff to what accepting and what rejecting means i.e. up to 30% WE loss means he accepts it and anything more than that means he didn't accept it.
So of the first time he "accepts" the redshirt he loses 5 WE points, the second time could he lose 2 WE points, or even have no loss? Is this response from CS just saying that it could only get worse?
"Accept" means no WE loss. "Reject" means any WE loss.
The change was, in the past, a player might "reject" the first time, but you could take it off and keep trying over and over again and sometime down the line he might take it.
Now, the top-level response (accept/reject) will not change no matter when you try it during the season. The follow-up if he "rejects" still can/does change - try multiple times and he gets more and more upset, losing more and more WE.
