This is shocking.
I know, right? The clearest evidence yet that I may not be full-out serious about winning this time around. And besides, it's unlikely anyone else was going to take him so if I really wanted to saddle myself with the Kangaroo Kid I could done so at the bottom of the sixth round. I deserve to be skewered in the evals. But consider...Cunningham is considered only slightly less problematic than Moncrief and Alvin Robertson were sveral seasons ago, and I've won wth both of those. I scoffed at you for taking a particular player ( whom I looked at hard for this pick) last season and you went on to win. Sometimes we just have to take our mapcap impulses out for a spin to learn if they just might be the stuff of genius.

So, in the season I'm using, Cunningham shoots a hair under 50 efg% whiich we all know is subpar for this league. But he's flanked by Shaq and Nash and there is great overall passing in the starting lineup so I'm banking on having drafted the antidote already. He gives me 20 dreb% and some assists from the SF spot, whi,h I sorely needed, he has a D rating of 71 which is at least ridicule-proof, and maybe best of all he adds significantly to my FTA total which was looking meagre despite the presence of Shaq.

More conventional SF options available lacked either the boards or the usage that I wanted. So, while I concede this was probably a bad idea, it is at least more thoughtful farting around than my collection of Russell, Hakeem and Lever last season.
