1976 Progressive Draft Thread - DRAFTING Topic

I mentioned it because I have four picks left, but need to take four scrubs to get to the 19,680 minimum.

There should be a penalty for an owner who "drafts" someone in say, the 11th round, and then has to drop them for a scrub. Check you minutes everyone.

Also, I agree with strict penalties on those forced to use  scrub minutes. Too many times I've seen teams start 2-3 scrubs only to get the top pick in a loaded draft.

If you use scrubs more than Xminutes for the season, you should not be able to get a top 3 pick. That number could be around 1200 or 1600 minutes. Or anything else really, just saying, let's penalize it.

I've never once had to use scrubs in a progressive while others trot out starting lineups with Joe Graboski and Boag Johnson in order to get better picks.

Thanks for pointing that out. He was listed as available on the ALPHA list and misspelled on the other. Thanks.

Disagree can't impose a rule in the middle of a draft. Plus there's simply not enough minutes to go around. But a potential solve is dont make them too crappy. Maybe get some better minute fillers

If someone is going to tank they will find a way. What's the difference between using scrubs and tired, worthless draftees?
