Well I'm at 15039 after 8 picks.. We will see if  I make 19000

It's hard enough to find players in a draft like this much less ones with enough minutes.  These last 4 rounds are going to be torture lol

tanking is part of the game..#teamhinkie...just need a few rules to make sure it doesnt get out of hand

1. dont start any scrubs

2. play all your regular guys to the max

3. no forcing injuries to your starters(basically just pay attention to your mins so your not starting guys at 50% all year)

4. play all your guys at the correct positions

5. no drafting bums(useless players with super low mins and no future) if higher min guys are available

no need for specifics on anything...we can police ourselves if anyone is playing unfair...i expect most of us are going to rely on scrub mins for awhile...sheeiit had 4 players before most teams had 2 and im still gonna need scrub mins...theres just not enough guys available

Rule 5 shouldn't count this year, because those of us with 20,000 minutes already "should" take a few bums (I like the term role player) so the teams running short can pick the two or three real high minute high quality guys remaining so they are not full of bums!

I agree with all the rules accept #1... Sometimes in order to adhere to the other rules one must start scrubs. Now, If you start a scrub you should try to play that scrub as little as possible. However, take the instance of a owner who needs a scrub to use as a guard because he/she doesn't have enough guard minutes. Now say that the guards the owner does have, have recommended minutes of 5-12 minutes or so. Starting players with so few minutes ends up fatiguing them quicker since in the SIM, a starting player has to start the game and finish a game and so sometimes ends up with more minutes than required. This instance happens more than you think, especially with rebuilding teams, and owners should be allowed to start scrubs in this case.

For example, in a current progressive league I am in right now, I have a rebuilding team, but am trying to win all my games. If I had wanted to tank like a couple of my fellow owners are doing, I would easily have the worst record in the league. However, I currently am 8 games out of last place, in part because I have used my scrubs wisely to give my better players needed rest. I happen to start two scrubs and even started three for a few games and I did this because this was the best way for me to win. In this current league, I will also not have the best team for a couple years and will need scrubs to fill out my minutes. During each season I will try to win each game, and in my opinion, I will have to start scrubs to do so.

The first rule is good in principle, but I believe that it should be enforced on a per team basis.
