You didn't run your mouth and it cost me the guy I wanted, i.e. Shawn Kemp. It's going to happen. I wanted Wilt Chamberlain. Alas, I didn't get him. That's how a draft works.

I mean, but, fine. With good fortune, I'll have constructed the team I want regardless of whether anyone tips me. Since I think this doesn't have any sort of impact on the actual results, I can easily let it go.

I'd ask that we stop discussing undrafted players. We're getting to a point where the difference between a solid 3rd pick and a 6th round gem is the guy who realizes he slipped through the cracks.

That's been an unwritten rule in draft leagues forever.  Maybe it should be a written rule.  Sure, it's easy to go back and look at previous drafts, or do a search of the database, but talking about undrafted players while a draft is active is just bad form.

This Marion trade is why we don't name undrafted players. It may still seem silly, but it's these later round guys (especially ones who usually do go early in the second) much more so then 1st rounders.

Howard doesn't have any 100D seasons.  And in my opinion, he is an elite center.

I like the evals too.
I'm planning on using Green at SF though. Taking Marion after my first two picks would've been tough to pull off with the cap, and wouldn't have solved my problem of outside shooting. Green is like a Donyell Marshall lite with assists. Needed at least one outside presence with Kareem and Dr J.

Only five players in the history of the NBA have ever had a season with 27% usage and 59% efg. Lebron went ahead of me and I obviously preferred Howard to Shaq or Curry.


Only one player in NBA history had 27% usage, 59% efg, 28% dreb, and a 90 defense. Objectively speaking, the best season\per minute in the data base and it is only $9.4 million.



So I would think....elite.
