I feel like I have the poor man's version of those PG-F/C combos from the first round.

There is only really one or two options for Wilt else you should have taken Artis or Deandre on one end of his career or any number of high use low efg undrafted at the other end and saved money and opportunity

I don't think Artis plays PF. As for DeAndre, I love him, but I don't see why any rebounder wouldn't work next to Wilt. Wilt's carrying a lot of the rebound load already.

Completely unrelated noted: it's always the most nerve-wracking experience to watch the draft for this league. I'm always 110% worried that someone's going to take my guy. For the team I'm building, there's one guy I really, really want. I don't think we'll crumble without him, but I think it'll hurt. Dang.....here goes the wait. Then I have to wait for my 4th round guy, and that's really going to be a problem. Yeesh. Can't complain at all about my first two, though. It's a block party (and you're all invited!)

I'll join you in that waiting on my next guy boat. I have one guy in mind and honestly he might go, he might not. That's the toughest when a guy occasionally gets drafted and sometimes not at all lol.

I'm not worried. I have until the last three picks of the draft to get the rest of my team...lol.

BTW Copernicus the point is you can build around both Wilts in some fun ways. So far I like my choices.

if so, i would agree with copernicus...if you use a 70s wilt, thats about the same as deandre/atris...an early 60s wilt is about the same as certain undrafted, high ugh, around 50%efg guys

I did some pretty extensive testing while you were away and came away with some interesting results.  The old "add 'em up & see what you got" approach appears to work better with the individual penalty than using the usage tiers.  Still need 10 to avoid the team penalty, but you can't really get only 10 usage points and satisfy both penalties.  There's also some ideas floating around about just using fga/min despite pace normalization, and thus far, they seem to be decently spot on.

can't we just ask the guys who programmed the SIM? lol, nobody knows how it works and we've been at it for a decade.

some of us probably know more than they do.

(not to mention the shitstorm we had to go through just to get the usage tiers in the first place, which were, by the way, completely incorrect the first time they gave it to us!)

Yeah I just wondered if the whole T-Mac, Harden and Davis was an overdoing it.

Right on the upper edge.  He also could be using the 58% efg% Harden season.

and FANTASTIC joke!

Some pretty bad drafting so far for a lot of teams.
