So he's playing all 3000 minutes as a backup SG? You're going to start Harden there for 11 mins (give or take) and then Harden will back up Davis?

Backup minutes are definitely important. And I draft accordingly keeping in mind I want a solid bench. But for the reasons stated above, I couldn't make myself spend a high 3rd rd pick on a backup, especially after trading away my 1st rd pick.

And I still don't understand the trade to move up for Ibaka.

dh got some reeeeeelly good value out of that trade. Nance, especially those Suns seasons, is a great add. really efficient trio with very good defense

Ben's trio is too good not to be the top team.....and yet I wonder if it isn't.

some good defensive teams that'll be very happy, given that there are going to be more shotty defensive teams than usual. most teams are missing a scorer, and now that Drexler's gone owners will have to sacrifice on D.....a bit.


also, this isn't praise, but there's a really good passer that hasn't been taken yet! he deserves to go at some point soon.

also I really don't hate my team, but I've neve been great at WIS, so I'm 94% cautious, 6% optimistic, <1% thinking my plan is too good be true.

if somebody sees a problem with my team now, or as it's being built, feel free to lambast me to your heart's desire. criticism would be very helpful to me

When are the actual evals going to start?

you guys have been spoiled lately with ben...no one really does evals for every round like he did...or they try it and dont finish

i usually like to do evals at the end of the draft when i can see all the picks and have a better understanding of each team

you do need usage, don't you? the $8,000,000 Nance's would be really good for your D/blocks, but then i think it hurts your salary.

i guess i was imagining 86-87 or something, one of those 55+ eFG%/under $7M seasons.

yea i def needed usg...but boozer takes care of that need...gonna use 91-92 nance(best one imo) and have him cover boozers bad d...he loses more d rating guarding sfs, but the drop from 36 to the 20-somethings is worth it to have nance and his 100 d take the best sf/pf

i plan on starting the evals monday...its a lot easier/better if i know what seasons you guys are using...so if you want a better eval go ahead and post your squad when you have your 7 players

I don't know what I'm going to do with Butler, depends on what is on the board when I make my late 6th round pick. It will be a cheap season though, either his 600ish minute season or his 850 with usage one. After trading up to get another first, it made sense to take on Butler as a minute eater to assure that I got the starting lineup I wanted.
I like the team overall. Two elite scorers, in the paint and the perimeter. I had tried to trade up to get Charlie Ward, but that didn't work. Frazier is good and all, 20 usage 54 efg 20ish ast 90 def, but I don't like the turnovers. He can swap defensively with Curry, so I have an elite backcourt defender. Sanders and Barkley can also swap, which is good since it's Barkleys biggest weakness. Eatons been on a finals team in the last two odls, gives me a guy on elite centers. Should hopefully draw more free throws than I allow with Frazier and Barkley. The combination of my scorers and defense should be an advantage. Turnovers are going to be a problem though and it's probably only an average rebounding team.

I'll probably roll with this.
