Just voted - how do we have 25 votes with 24 owners?

I'm still not really sure how the order was determined actually. It's not 'closer to 24' as default either. It that were the case, I'd be before eleibowitz- not saying I should be ahead of eleibowitz, just saying that I would be if the default were closer to 24... I feel the need to over explain things bc ppl jump to conclusions, infer things they shouldn't, and have a hard time comprehending what the read.. Idiocracy was meant to be a comedy, but has turned into a documentary on the reality of this world.

I voted. All 24 votes are in. Looks like it was 13 to 11.. There's simply no way that lottery participants should have to declare before lottery results are announced. Not sure how 11 ppl disagree with that logic

Someone is hacking. I hadn't voted until a few minutes ago. I hope whoever did it isn't working on the Trump campaign... guess that would explain a lot!!!

The poll shows The poll has 22 votes with 12 for letting them move closer to 1 and 10 votes for keeping it as is. That's 55% closer to 1 and 45% stay where we are at. Do we need the final 2 votes?

I will do closer to 24 so it doesn't start the draft over. What Milest wants to do it's up to him

I don't care tell me when to draft and I will draft there.

What I do care about is that in the future the determinations should not have to be made until the lottery results are announced. Call me lazy or whatever you want, but I've been extremely busy since the playoffs started. I worked 14 hours on Saturday and got up at 5am on Sunday and worked 12 more. I didn't make a declaration earlier bc I wanted to see where I finished first (only logical thing to do in my opinion).. I admit that I procrastinated longer than I should have before checking my messages, but I just had a lot going on, and I wasn't paying close enough attention to the site and made assumptions I shouldn't have..

I'm interested in trading my second rounder, taking offers.

after whining and pouting like 2 year olds - and all the fuss they created - not to mention the obvious delay --- the same 2 whiners, for all intents and purposes, decided to recant - which begs the obvious question --- why did they complain in the first place? --- once again we have an example of the mental midgets failing to exercise a degree of advance thinking.

All this for a $5 fantasy game ----

milest....there is no default to 1 or 24...dont know where you got that from...i dont care what other leagues do...ive never done that in this league...go back and look at draft league L and XLIX...each time two owners didnt choose and got slotted in last...if you cant put in the effort to choose like everyone else does you get slotted last...thats the way it goes

you were also given warning about picking closer to 1/24 when i had to sitemail you the 2nd(of 3) time to see if you were in or out...apparently you weren't too busy to go to the site and open my sitemail, but too busy to respond with a simple " yes..closer to 1"

eleibowitz....please understand that i wouldnt have done this poll for many owners...but you are a longtime respected owner who i really enjoy competing against and i didnt want to see the league lose you

BUT....you are the ONLY owner who NEVER indicates closer to 1/24...i always have to sitemail you to get you to choose(and this is when you arent in the lottery)..its very annoying

i understand where you are coming from...i didnt give any time between when the lottery was run and when i set the draft order(though i know ive done this before without complaint)...i did this because my free time has been limited lately and i wanted to get the draft board set by monday night

I'm glad we're back on track, and I'm already anticipating the thud when my team lands somewhere in the bottom third of the league. I've never done well drafting near the end of the first round in this league, but others have done so and I'm always intrigued to try.

Actually, when I started playing the old kfunk52, the common wisdom among at least some seasoned old-timers (monkee comes to mind) was that closer to 24 was more advantageous.

actually vance just recently reminded me that before i took over as commish the 52m league didnt get to choose slot selection...draft order was based off the previous seasons records with new owners put at the bottom into those "advantageous" spots

guess i see now why kfunk and ncih did it like that
