Actually, when I started playing the old kfunk52, the common wisdom among at least some seasoned old-timers (monkee comes to mind) was that closer to 24 was more advantageous.

copernicus- what say you on being closer to 24?

it's less of an advantage at this point because the pool of sim studs has grown - at this point I just like being on the turn because it helps me project what is likely to happen between my picks

True the owners are a lot better now overall. I agree that picking on the turn makes it easier to project which players will be available. The talent in the player pool has also increased. That's why the owner picking Wilt always has 2 solid players or more available at # 48 & # 49 to add to make the team a contender after round 3.

Guys I highly recommend that we all start preparing proxy lists especially with the holiday weekend coming up. Just a thought.

Well I don't know about anyone else, but I am officially in the "Make DH52 Great Again" movement started by Pen and inspired by his best pal Bernie Sanders. It begins with the banning of Wilt because he is scary and banged a lot of women which intimidates us.
