Three players I've never used before - Robinson, Brand and Payton. My usage is already taken care of, and it's a decent start on nearly everything else. I need boards and threes. And mojo.
thats a monster team defensively right now....you know which payton youre using yet?
It might be his monster minutes season, but it could depend on who his backcourt mate ends up being. I've always wished he had a season with better efficiency, but he plays a pretty clean game which is helpful (my teams always end up racking up PFs and TOs).

This is my 3rd time drafting Billups. One of my favorites. This team isn't what I was hoping for when I traded up with DH though. I feel like when you trade up that it's important to make the pick count with higher salaried guys that have multiple skills.
First, Green and Pippin were taken right before my Billups pick and I was really hoping I'd get one of those two. Then the top three guys left I was hoping for (Hakeem, O-Rob, Dr J) were gone before my acquired pick. I mean Mourning is great and all but is pretty similar to what I had in Duncan.
billups is awesome...id claim him as one of my guys if ltb didnt already beat me to it...hes guaranteed to go waaay over his rl assist total and always gets his 3s and a good chunk of his ftas

pay no attention to how poorly hes doing against you and the rest of the odl tho...i dunno what the hell is going on there
Yeah, I have a hard time resisting Billups. I've probably used him more than any other player in the sim. Great combination of 3s, FTs, assists and defense, plus he makes very few mistakes. He doesn't seem to get the sim bump he used to, and he'll shoot you out of some games. But still, his combination of pluses is pretty close to unique.

He really does everything with the exception of rebounding. I've always penciled in his 07-08 (70 D, 2500 minute) season, but I'm thinking of going with 05-06 (80 D, 2900 minutes) for something different. I don't think it really matters, I don't think I can win with a Duncan/Mourning front court anyway so might as well. After Paul and Kidd (edit Stockton, Magic), he's the next guy on my PG list.

Anthony Davis or Donyell. Who should I have taken?

I apologize for saying that I would take Gary Payton if he was still available to steer the owners picking ahead of me in round 3 ahead of me from taking Patrick Ewing. I think that so far Rodman, Dr J and Ewing make a really strong trio of picks. What do you guys think?

Really thought Ewing or Kemp would fall to me. Dang......fortunately, I've allotted myself a number of good backup plans. I wonder if anyone would've let me trade up......

You need 3's.

I like Davis with Kareem. Big minutes + small minutes.

Good commentary so far by copernicus

I don't know why I thought miles had Paul and Nash, but uptown has Nash. Board must've reflected pre-trade picks at the time.

The only thing that could derail jhsukow, I guess, is insufficient passing. and rebounding. depending on guards, he could actually be short in that department.

Yeah, a bit light on rebounding from the forward spots. The mad efficiency may compensate some for that. That's a lot of usage skewed toward the paint so far.

wow..just saw jh's team...that is awesome...cant say ive ever seen that trio in a draft league before

i think(depending on who hes able to get as his guards) we might see him shoot so well that he actually has a positive rebounding advantage due to the fact that his opponents wont have any rebounds to collect haha

i wonder of his offense will be as good as my mchale team that won it all...we were over 60%efg for the season and damn near 70% in the playoffs...didnt think id ever see that teams offense be topped, but jh certainly has the frontcourt to do it

Nash is on my team, copernicus. But I'm also hogging point guards.

Looking at my 3 drafted players Shaquille, Camby, AK47... After the 97th pick I'll have 5 players... My team will look fantastic, or a train wreck.
