This is my 3rd time drafting Billups. One of my favorites. This team isn't what I was hoping for when I traded up with DH though. I feel like when you trade up that it's important to make the pick count with higher salaried guys that have multiple skills.
First, Green and Pippin were taken right before my Billups pick and I was really hoping I'd get one of those two. Then the top three guys left I was hoping for (Hakeem, O-Rob, Dr J) were gone before my acquired pick. I mean Mourning is great and all but is pretty similar to what I had in Duncan.
billups is awesome...id claim him as one of my guys if ltb didnt already beat me to it...hes guaranteed to go waaay over his rl assist total and always gets his 3s and a good chunk of his ftas
pay no attention to how poorly hes doing against you and the rest of the odl tho...i dunno what the hell is going on there
He really does everything with the exception of rebounding. I've always penciled in his 07-08 (70 D, 2500 minute) season, but I'm thinking of going with 05-06 (80 D, 2900 minutes) for something different. I don't think it really matters, I don't think I can win with a Duncan/Mourning front court anyway so might as well. After Paul and Kidd (edit Stockton, Magic), he's the next guy on my PG list.
