Due to a number of factors (including which teams were picked and making sure that one owner doesn't have two teams in the same conference), this is how we will separate the Eastern and Western Conferences:

East: New Jersey, New York, Washington, Boston, Toronto, Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Minnesota, Miami, Orlando, Houston

West: Portland, Utah, Denver, Memphis, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Sacramento, Golden State, LA Lakers, Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio

Which owners have two teams?  Will there be some way that we make sure they don't throw games to their team that needs them more?

sweg has two teams. of course, they're in two different conferences. so i don't think there will be many game-throwing opportunities. what is this, vegas?

just guessing here, fellas, but i'll be surprised if the new players are out this month. the good news is that the draft should be an absolute breeze....we all could have completed five or six mock drafts by now. the discouraging news? we won't have those new players until a month from now at the earliest (it just feels that way, doesn't it?). i hope we still have some momentum -- and excited owners -- by then.

If that's the case we will have to re-draft.  I don't want 08-09 Knicks

l hear ya... I'm sure everyone would have to rethink their teams... but that would still be quicker than waiting for these players. Just a thought...

It's a great thought...especially since the new players likely won't be here til September (if they ever come at all). I'll sitemail the league and see where people stand on it. In the meantime, I'll come up with a 08-09 draft list.

I'm up for this with my previous team or the Clips.

Hey guys, just checking in.  Is this league a go?  I know some are anxious to play, and I am too, but I thinking putting leagues on hold is our leverage for the new players.  I know lots of folks have posted often to ask for status, but that hasn't seemed to do anything.  Speak with your wallets.

The league is now dead. I just wish someone in customer support would have the good sense and/or honesty to step up and say what the real story is. I smell something rotten here, just as everyone else does, yet it's insulting that all we get is vapid non-statements from CS. If they ever get it together, maybe we can resuscitate the league. But for now, it's dead. Thanks to everyone who signed up; I thought it was a cool concept.
