While a fair complaint, this is something that should have been mentioned while we were still re-filling.  I don't think anyone cares to wipe the slate clean and start over, even though everyone but sly would want another crack at the #1 pick.

  1.  I hope people are really not proposing to draft on a first come first served basis in answering this forum.  I only recently thought to check it.
  2. Keep people's scores who have had them and assign new people a random score.
  •  If sly had a score of 012 originally, he keeps it.  Everybody keeps their original score.
  • I feel that new comers should be assined a score in the same or simalar maner as the original participants were assigned a score.
  • If sly had a score of 012 and I should happen to get a score of 011 I should pick first.
  • If I get a score of 999 I should pick last, or have last choice as to when to draft.

     
3. If something like the above does not happen I am not going to join the league.

Maybe you should go suck on your dad's vagina as well. Maybe before you and appleseed joined, you should have understood the rule that new owners would be placed at the end, as is done in every other league that takes on new owners.

To be fair to everyone who originally signed up and waited all this time, and to not delay the draft any more then it needs to, I 'm keeping the original draft order. When someone drops out, the owner behind them moves up a spot. Any new owners will be put at the bottom of the list in order of the time they joined.

So as of right now shooter, you are #21. But keep in mind that is only for selecting your draft spot(you will most likely not have the 21st pick) and you may move up if any of the 5 owners I'm waiting to hear back from drop out.

Actually, I wouldn't take that deal if you offered it, I was hoping that if I put up a completely unfair post like that it might make an impression on that little teeny tiny itty bitty cranium, oh sorry, brain, oh sorry thinky thing at the top end of your body, and you might see things from my prespective.  I'm sorry I didn't read 7 pages of posts to find the rules in the fine print; I thought it would be fair.

Two posts above yours. If you've played in any leagues, you would know that newcomers get slotted at the end. See ODL, Gym Rat, EOL, etc.

the way i've looked at the numbers it will work out in your favor to draft 23 and 26 rather than 4 and 45.  that's why there's the extra step of selecting order first, otherwise we'd all just automatically take the highest pick.  the only one with a clear advantage is the #1 pick which was decided at random long ago and posted as such.

Dammit...I shoulda known something like this would have happened...this league if fckin cursed

Ok.....98 and appleseed...I'm sorry that it wasn't made clear to you that you wouldn't have a shot at #1, I suppose I should have mentioned that. But I have been updating the slot selection order almost every day and you should have noticed your position, and brought it up then. I assumed you both didn't have a problem because with the way the draft rounds go, and with the player pool, you really don't have an advantage at any spot outside of the top 3. I didn't want to do a whole new lottery because that would be horribly unfair to those that waited months for this league to happen. I also didn't want to delay the draft any longer then it already has been. As Sly mentioned, it really isn't any different from how the other draft leagues work. I've played in leagues with both of you before and know you're both good owners who shouldn't have a problem building a competitive team from any draft spot. I hope you can both just man up and say, "Fu*k you Sly, I don't care if you have Lebron, I'm gonna kick your *** anyway." I'll hold your spots until I hear back from you.

If they don't want to stay then I know bluenote said he would take a second team, and we would still need 1 more owner....ughhhh. Please have justa little more patience guys, almost there.

I just think it is ridiculous that I have no shot at even having a chance to get a top pick. In reality I don't give a chit if I have the last pick as long as I had the same chance as everone else. Nobody in the league seems to give a chit about the new guys because they already had their chance at it and lost, like elei who was born a loser. This is a new league, not a league that has been running for consecutive seasons like ODL, EOL, NCIH 52...etc.  where drafts get determined by PREVIOUS season's standings.

I probably should have read the thread better. My fault.

Sly is a piece of chit. He can't think rationally. Like I said too much choking the chicken.

I agree with elei...let me leave and replace me. Just make it clear to the next guy what the deal is. Good luck.
