Another thing to consider would be really playing with draft order. Like shifting picks around so 6 different ppl had top picks and everyone's sum of draft positions was 75 still.

but by doing that, monk, it just shifts the emphasis in another direction. doesn't change the effect much. lebron just goes first in the sf round, rather than the pg round, etc. the 100% rule gives us a little bit more flexibility shaping squads. or am i missing something?

oh, man, it's 4 am... going to bed. see ya tomorrow.
sure it does - part of the problem right now is that half the 'pg 100%' eligible guys taken in the first round werent PGs at all which in turn diluted the talent pool in the SG round and made being at the top of that round less advantageous

the same thing is about to happen in this next round and there will only be 3 or 4 studs in round 4 and that only because they arent PF100%

there are 3 guys i can think of that have yet to be chosen in the sg round that are top sim players... one cat espcially. not sure if the talent pool gets diluted. but yeah, perhaps we could change the format next time to what position they are listed as in the wis data base. i actually cotton to the idea.

wow, "some funky s h i t  going down in the city... big ol' jet air-ra-liner"  rodman goes before the other 2 big guns. haha. never know what's gonna happen in this league. but rodman fits nicely with king james and miller, no doubt about it.

The drat is now unstuck.

I think Moses was a somewhat more logical choice, with his monster inside game and plenty of FTAs, but I have no problem with Rodman going first in the PF round.  mikee has the best start possible on his rebounding, and maximum positional flexibility as he fills out his starting lineup.  I might have done the same thing.

I would have been shocked if Moses and Rodman hadn't gone 1-2 in whatever order.

The arguments should start now about the guy left on the table by both me and dh - but missing out on the first two dudes, I want to make sure I have a rebounding beast and some interior scoring.  Time to pinch pennies for one or both of the next couple rounds.

Moses with Lebron would have been a ton of usage esp. With Reggie Miller. I felt certain that I was getting Moses...although there is one that I thought may go sooner than he has but he got a defensive haircut recently so he is a little less valuable.

Kidd rice Barkley is pretty nice looking team atm

lots and lots of quality PF's left... imo, the deepest round of the draft

moses's best season is tier 3  and a perfect compliment to Lebron's game as it balances the zone scoring across all zones nicely - I think both Miller and Rodman were mistakes

yeah, that's a misnomer about moses's usage...it's not very high. i think his top salary season is 23%. reggie's usage is higher than moses's. i wasn't too excited about the miller pick either. so many great sg's left on the table. i will definately be going back to that junk yard and rifling through the heaps.

ltb...not sure if youre talking about barkley or one other certain player sure to be taken soon

both were tough to pass up but i didnt want to take a sf in this round(which is were i would have played both guys) and have to rely on my late c pick and even later 6th round pick to find boardsmen....wallace fits really well into the plan i have for this team and he has a great salary...just hope i dont regret passing up a chance to get wade another scorer

off to bed. teach in the a.m. happy easter!

my top 3 were Moses (clear cut) then Howard/Rodman

I had DH #1 personally.  Lots of usage @ 59% shooting plus the fta's, 30 dreb, etc.  Surprised to see Bird go so early, but a great pick.  I was stuck on about 4 guys that all have strengths and weaknesses.  Went with the FTA's in the end.  Not thrilled about my boards at this point.
