Now we're changing the draft order? I don't think Vance fully understands the concept of this league. And despite everyones attempts to help, it's clear he still doesn't get it.

Vance- it depends on what season you look at.

lol... vance, you're killing me. listen, pardner... if you wanted to draft kemp as a center, yes, you could have, HOWEVER, you could only draft those 2 seasons where he is listed as a center in the wis data base... if you wanted to draft him as a PF, then only those 12 seasons in which he was a pf could be drafted. i'm not sure i'm following what you're saying.

as far as the draft oder in the 6th round goes, we hashed this out already guys way back in the classified forum just at the beginning of this draft in the first round. we agreed, that the middle slot guys never chose late in any rounds before, so we tried to make it a bit more fair in the 6th where the middle guys finally chose toward the bottom of the order, and gave preference to the early slots, and late slots. sure, it's not perfect, but evens the playing field out for the early and late guys.

Career listing page? WTF are you talking about? Go to the search screen, change Position to be appropriate for whatever we are drafting for and hit search. How difficult is that?

it's simple......you do a search for pf's and the guys who come up are the ones you can use geez

JHC. This has turned into a circus. Now we got the top slots getting top picks in 3 rounds? What a joke. I'll take that over mediocre picks in 6 rounds every day of the week.

sly, i don't think it's a joke, and we discussed this before, and you were in the middle of the talks because you had a formula for draftingt that we were all considering. in fact, i liked your formula and would have used it in this league, but there were owners balking at making such draconian changes so far into the draft already. and, i agreed with them.

i also stated that if we ever do this league again, that;s i'd use your formula. i wish we could have used it now, but alas, we did not. however, we talked about changing up the 6th round. i'm sure you were reading those posts. to now say that this is a joke, seems a bit over the top. sorry u feel that way. there are bugs in this system, and i apologize for that. it is a new style of drafting.

what we have i think is pretty good. hell no, it's not perfect. from different point of view from where you are located in the draft order, a case can be made for anyone with a gripe. haha. i understand this. still, it's what we have. i could easily go back to the original way and say, forget the round 6 change, and lets keep it the way we had it before. thoughts? hell yes, i'm open to sly's complaint, as i was open to dh's, and felonius's and others.

i'd like to hear what others have to say befoe we make round 6 a done deal. sly brings up a valid point.

Well all I know about the 6th round is the top picks are picking last in the PF and the next two rounds.  We should at the very least be at the top for the final round.

that was the main issue when we talked about this before.... evened the playing field a bit.

as constituted I pick high in 3 rounds and low in 3 rounds - a change to the 6th rd draft order would likely make that 2 and 4 and not in my favor so please consider that

I went back and read the Classifieds thread and found the 6th round change, so ignore my previous comment.

But I keep looking back to page 1 of this thread for rules, revisions, clarifications, etc. and its a mess.  Any chance you can update it?
