This team’s fatal flaw, however is a complete lack of assists.

You realize Mark Jackson has a 3k+ minute, 42% ast% season, right?  If everybody else on the floor has only 1% ast, he is fine.  Jackson will feed Durant & McAdoo the ball all day long.

im excited to see how this team does...could be scary good....probably the best rebounding team in the league....im getting great ast% from my wings to go with derons dimes...the defense is nice with kg and dr. j able to cover multiple positions....we dont really foul that much and the efg% is pretty solid too despite being shorter on 3s then id like....i think ill run half-court so deron, buck and dr. j dont murder me with turnovers...kg and dr.j arent sexy picks to lead a team to the chip but i think i put the kind of grind it out style team around them to succeed

Yeah appleseed, my starting 5 has a total assits of 79.7%.....

Karl Malone       Scottie Pippen  Brent Barry         Samuel Dalembert          Lamar Odom      Dan Gadzuric     Chris Webber

Mighty mighty defensive rebounding.  I think that there might be some over-spending on Usage, and I am just as sure I will be proven wrong.  This is a very good team.+5.3

theyard2

Bill Russell          Tim Duncan        Gerald Wallace                Adrian Dantley Maurice Cheeks               Rodrigue Beabois                Corliss Williamson

Average defense, average offense, average rebounding average average average.  Good getting to the line though.  Bad TOs.  +0.2

dh555

Kevin Garnett   Julius Erving       Buck Williams   Deron Williams                Kris Humphries                Dell Curry            Corie Blount

Above average rebounding, above average defense, above average offense, above average above average above average.  average 3s.(actually I like theyard2’s defense slightly more)  +3.3

sixernuggets

Dikembe Mutombo        Chauncey Billups             Jayson Williams               Alex English       DeJuan Blair       T.R. Dunn            Jon Barry

This team is a bit short on usage, but maybe not critically so.  It is also short on defensive rebounding but long on offensive rebounding.  It has 2 players I kind of wanted and thought I would get, so I like that about them in that I hate that about them.  +1.6

bluenote75

Magic Johnson  Dirk Nowitzki    Tom Boerwinkle              Paul Millsap       Wesley Person Charlie Edge      Rich Kelley

I won the Bowis Draft League with Dirk on my team last year, and yet, I remain unconvinced about him now.  Any team with Magic and Boerwinkle has got to be all set on assists.  The team carries a lot of turnovers, however.  The defensive rebounding is elite level, but the defense is the worst I have seen so far, so one and done, but a lot of ones will be hit.  Should be a very good team though.+3.8

robocoach

Chris Paul            Kevin Love          Alonzo Mourning            Peja Stojakovic Bo Outlaw           Daniel Gibson   Arvydas Sabonis

Another team with good defensive rebounding, poor defense and lots of assists.  I didn’t like robo’s team much last season, and he won more than anyone, so I am probably wrong about his team this year.  His team doesn’t have the TS% that bluenote’s does.+0.2

Actually I think its

PTS / (2 * (FGA + (0.44 * FTA))= TS%

Actually, I liked the team a little better when I thought you were short on assists, but I wouldn't even be bothering with this eval if I had lost to you in the finals.  I just consider it a responsibility.

Will I ever build a team with enough usage?  I've demoted Jerry West to 900 mins due to cost.

Starting dreb 94%, oreb 42%, asst 60%.  Will be a fouling turnover prone mess!  Good stuff.

That's actually the same thing.  What leibo posted is the general formula I've seen posted, but mathematically they work out the same.

I know, it was a joke.  I was hoping somebody was going to say "Isn't it (Pts/2)/(FGA+.44*FTA)?"
