well...first of all, let me apologize for causing all this trouble. The fault is mine alone. I got a sitemail from sappy when it was my turn to pick. I was having trouble figuring out who I wanted, tried a few different combos of guys and was still undecided. I then got distracted by work for a couple hours and completely forgot about my pick. I've been on the site plenty over the last day, but I had completely forgotten about the ODL and never went to the forums. Totally my fault, sorry about that. I did not mean to cause such a hubbub. I've never had a complete brain fart like that in a draft league before.

However, I find it quite odd that I did not receive a single sitemail while all of this furor was occurring on the forums. For future reference, it would be my suggestion that when an owner like myself has randomly gone MIA when it's his turn to pick in the 1st round, an effort should at least be made to contact them and inform them that they are about to be skipped and/or their spot in the league is about to be given away. I have no real problem with how ncih handled the situation - there really is no easy way to handle things when an owner has disappeared - I'm just surprised that neither he or any other owner (especially those concerned with moving the draft along) sent me a sitemail.

Anyway, let me apologize again for delaying the draft so long. I know how frustrating that is. If I do this again, though, you have my permission to just skip me and let me figure it out later.

i think the reason no one sent you a smail, tar, is because if you read ncih's post in red, at the top it said, tarheel has opened his site mail. at that point, it was strange from our perspective, that you had indeed received a smail, opened it, and then disappeared. so, it was your turn to pick, and you knew it was. why send you another smail? but it was strange you did not make a pick for so long. unlike you. a genuine mystery.
 
assumed you were being dragged away from fantasy and back into real life again. so, whadd'ya wanna do? stay or go? do you like lucas and allen? gary's great! my very good chinese buddy. haha. but you're one of the alpha-dogs in the odl. would hate to lose you.

now, if malone would just make his damn pick, i could make mine, and then head to dinner with chun hui!

NCIH - Can you either confirm or deny that I did not receive any sitemails stating the draft was starting on such and such a date.

Glad to hear you are ok. I tried to stop things but as you can see an executive decision was made by scud to go ahead and post the proxy picks and skip over you as well as me. Apparently he is second in charge.

Man this is getting really stupid, ncih said to skip look back at the posts. And 98 you could of easily proxied but you always seem not to mention that. Now can we be done with this.

This is ODL 38 right? Not ODL 1? Did this get too hard all of a sudden?

I am waiting for Malone, but totally ready to pick afterward.

Well, the sitemail ncih sent me "tomorrow's schedule" and was sent an entire day before my timeslot. I say that not to imply that he did anything wrong, but just for clarification.

This was just an unfortunate confluence of several things, chief of which was a huge brain fart on my part. Gary has offered me back the team, which is very nice of him. I am happy to take it, but told him he is free to keep it if he wants, because he was awarded it fair and square due to my own negligence. ncih is the commish, so it's up to him whether or not I'd be allowed to come back into the draft anyway.

I deleted my post since Scud is up, can we start getting this draft moving.
