coachcroft - Tim Duncan, John Stockton, Glen Rice, Detlef Schrempf, Mark Eaton, Joel Przybilla, Chris Gatling
It's nice to see Glen Rice getting drafted.....but unfortunately it's in the wrong league. He's great for the ODL where defense doesn't matter as much, teams don't have as much rebounding depth, and you are in need of good money bargains like Rice. He and Stockton will form the worst rebounding backcourt in the league. There's just no way he deserves to be a 3rd round pick. I don't think he should even be drafted in this league unless you have the perfect team around him. Schrempf is below average on the boards for a SF and so is Eaton at C. I just don't think you can win in this league if you can't hang in the rebound war. Stockton will have the offense scoring a bunch but it's not gonna be enough. Defensively, the Rice/Schrempf combo is gonna get abused. Nice start, but I think you blew it in rounds 3 and 4.
ginandjuice - Kevin Garnett, Kevin Love, Dana Barros, Jason Terry, Clifford Ray, Tree Rollins, J.R. Smith
KG is a great 1st round pick in the Ncih52 because he covers so many weaknesses. Terry/Barros are very weak on the boards in the backcourt but it's ok because you have KG at the 3 and got amazing boards from your 4/5. Tree/Ray foul way too much but it's ok because KG(and K-Love) don't foul at all. Barros isn't the best ast% PG but again, it's ok because KG is one of the best passing 3s. Awesome 3pt shooting on this team, should be one of the best at that. If you had better paint scoring to balance it out I would really love this team. Defense is just ok. The backcourt is kinda weak and you can't really hide Love with KG or Tree. You got an efficient team that passes well, rebounds, and kills teams from downtown. Should be a playoff team but I'm not sure a team with KG as the high usage guy can go far in the playoffs.
gunner21 - Oscar Robertson, Jerry Lucas, Bob Lanier, Larry Nance, Mo Cheeks, Nate McMillan, Roy Tarpley
I was feeling it until you drafted Mo and Nate and made Oscar your SG. He needs to be the PG. I like the frontcourt a lot. Good on boards, not a lot of fouls, passes well and the usage all fits with Oscar. All you needed was a 3pt bomber at SG. Cheeks will give you great D and more ast% but I think 3s were more important. You do now have an amazing passing team that should boost everyones fg% and the defense is great as well. Lucas is the only weak link and he will be covered by Lanier and maybe even Nance. Tarpley is a real nice backup big who gives the frontcourt some more boards and a backup scorer to Lanier, liked that pick. Never been a Nance fan. I think he's overrated but you got him in the 4th so that was good value. I don't see more than a 1st round exit for this squad if they do make the playoffs.
vancem - Bill Russell, Julius Erving, Steve Nash, Alonzo Mourning, A.C. Green, Arvydas Sabonis, Joe Dumars
Ryan Anderson! That was the guy I was thinking about for you in the 4th. With Anderson/Erving on the wings Anderson basically becomes a SG who also happens to have like 13% oreb. I like that combo a lot. Zo was a good pick though(I wanted him instead of Boozer). He'd way too good to be falling to the 4th round in this league. He gets to the line a ton, can be your main paint scorer, and getting defense that good in the 4th is rare. Nash is a beast in any league and with Erving you can let him guard the other teams worst backcourt player. Great value in the late 3rd round. Sabonis was kinda confusing. Not sure if that means you will use a lower minute Zo now. You do love Sabonis, I feel like he's on every one of your draft teams. I hope your using 98-99 Dumars, you need all those 3s. Like ash, I don't really care for the Russell/Erving start but I think you did a real nice job building around them. Not too sure what to expect here, but you never miss the playoffs so I'll say you get in.
