St. Mary's and Incarnate Word could meet up in the semis of the Heartland CT if we can both win tonight.  This is usually the Heartland CT final.  IW may need a win in that game to make the NT, but the 2 CVAC teams with higher projection report rankings, but losing records, will help IW's chances.

The way your team has played this year, St Mary's stands a real good chance but let's not get IW ahead of ourselves.  While we've won 8 in a row, we have 11 losses. 

I really, really don't understand how the projection report works.  Don't know how my 22-5 13rpi 13sos 6-4 vs top 50 is ranked behind:

Coker 20-7 24rpi 22sos 2-7 vs top 50

IW took a tough loss last night to a scrappy Drury team. Drury will need to beat St. Mary's tonight to help their chances for a bid to the NT.

cowz - take a look at Mercy's projection report.  Everything I could control, I tried to get right.  I put together a challenging non-con sked, won a bunch of games in a row ... but my projection is actually getting worse.  My conference is doing fairly well this year, too (tied for 3rd best winning percentage).

My only conclusion is that Coker has less Sim AIs in his conference and that's a big factor.  It's a bit of a head-scratcher.

must be a lot of coaches stunned as no comments in 2 days. and today is NT day!

seriously ****** right the heck off that i have to play Bowie State in the first round.  

saw that bowz - crazy opening matchup.

A little scary when the #16 we are playing has the same OVR rating as us (though we are overall superior in ATH and DEF) - just shows the parity in DII Iba. 

CVAC gets 8 in the NT, 4 in the PIT. 

2 superclasses as 1 seeds, Humboldt and CSU San Ber. 

This will be a very interesting tourney. People, start posting your final four predictions!!

I'm going with Longwood, U of Indy, Pfieffer, and SE Oklahoma St. Of course, the two superclass #1 seeds are pretty scary as well. 

I'll go out on a limb. No #1 seeds. Lenoir Ryhme, NJ Tech, NE State, and SE Oklahoma.

Man, it is virutally impossible to pick some of these.  I don't remember things ever being this evenly matched.  I will go with:

Midwest: Longwood
East: St. Mary's TX (wouldn't normally pick myself, but this is an impossible bracket to pick, so might as well go with my squad to get lucky)
South: Eckerd
West: CSU, San Bernadino

In regards to the East bracket being a hodgepodge of awesomeness...am I the only one that feels like I am always in "that" bracket?

this is an extremely evenly matched tourney, with most of the top teams constructed in very different ways....and that makes this tourney very interesting. 

saw that one coming. wow. 

No kidding, bbunch. Talk about parity in our bracket alone. 4 double-digit seeds made it to the 2nd round and I barely scraped by against my 14-seed opponent.

really thought we were better at all 5 starting positions, and deeper - but they played the correct strategy against us, and were a relatively tough 16th seed. Guess the WIS gods didn't have my back tonight. And yes, the Midwest was crazy all the way across.
