I had to delete the old version and config.ini file for it to work.  I would caution you to copy your settings over to the new file before deleting the old.  I did it manually.  After that, everything worked.

tried that no luck...

i 've gone so far as to complete delete any and all of the tools and start new - again no luck

i can see team analyzer but still getting error out while grabbing recruits

I had no problem this morning with the new version. Didn't have to do anything.

i'm happy for you but that really doesn't solve my issue.  i've done everything i can think of - deleted everything started with new download, updated java , rebooted...

i don't what's up but my PC is jacked up... got it to work on another PC

Anyone else having problem with using the yatzr player id to pull up the player page?  Everything else works for me I think.

That's a fairly common issue. It happens when your browser doesn't think you're logged into the WIS site when it tries to open the recruit page. Typically, all you need to do is log in from that error page, be sure you've selected the right team, then leave that browser window open and go back to the tool. Then, new windows that the tool opens should know that you're logged in.

I think I got the issues taken care of now. There were two separate, but similar issues. The first is that the tool wouldn't log in at all due to the new login page, which I took care of with 2.1.b1. The second was that the new login screen also broke my detection of incorrect username/password. So if you entered your password wrong in the tool, it would just error out instead of telling you your username/password was wrong. Both of these things should be completely fixed in version 2.1 which is up on the gdreports site now

It's working for me now. Thanks yatzr! I was about to go back to the "old way" of recruiting. Wasn't looking forward to it.

I'm sorry, but i can't find the new version of the tool on the gdreports website.  The link that yatzr posted took me to the recruiting tool page but the only version available on that page is 2.0.  Anyone got any advice?

You're probably getting a cached version of the older page. If you refresh the page, you should see the newer version.
