Can you redo your rush analysis and only use Human vs SIM games?"

yatzr, it would be very interesting to to the run average you just posted compared to the avg STR avg ELU avg SPD cores for human and sim for each division. I've got your paypal for that wonderful tool you wrote.

I'll paypal you $10 if you could post that.
I am in for $10 if you can analyze the core differentials of OL/DL and RBs.  Hell, maybe more than $10...
Yatzr if you could do what both teanciousdx and I requested, I'll paypal over $25. I'm sure others will contribute. we NEED to get these data out to WIS - in a very respectful way - I guarantee if the masses go about this the wrong way they are going to be inclined to work against us, not with us. Us as the customers as well as WIS all have the same common goal in the end.

This is the other thing I am thinking.  Only practice one O formation and one D formation but do it for like 45 mins per.  Your IQ should go through the roof.  I am thinking of running nothing but trips and nickel.  Nickel will be fine against the run with 4 DL plus the extra DBs will help cut down on big plays (in theory).  I am going to do it!!!  WTF, nothing to lose.

First and foremost, great work, and great data.

In my real job, I am a statistician, and do advanced analytical work.  One key part to my profession is to ensure we are comparing the right things.  Often exactly even samples are not available, and there are things that need to be taken into consideration to understand if there are valid comparisons.  So what does this mean?

Well, first question is if there are equal opponents in the rushing yards thing.  And I believe the answer is no.  Sims are more likely to play sims, especially out of conference (when you are making your own schedule).  I'm not a great programmer, but what would be good to see is avg rushing yards for human and sim vs each.  If humans run for more yards against sims then the do vs humans, and humans run for more vs sims than sims do vs sims, then the averages shown may not be indicative of a problem.  I'm hoping that is the answer...

For the amount of money being thrown around here he should just make his own game.

Yatzr, can you just create a new game for us to play? I know where you could get a loyal, informative and quite large customer base overnight.

Im not kidding. I would pay more and could put up with the initial bugs because I alreadu have more faith in you that you would actually care enough to fix it.

This.  The faster it happens the better.

so, regardless of talent you will run for the same average as your opponent.  Why not spend all your recruting money on QBs and WRs and DBs and Ks (since the engine decides if you will make a kick before you actually try it!)?
You did see the part of the post in the critical news where they said they were going to monitor games and do tweaks, right?

Lets assume that the SIM/Human balance is right now as close as it is going to get and it will get better as some tweaks are made.

"This update to Gridiron Dynasty is a huge change and one we feel improves the game dramatically both in terms of realism and competitiveness."

Don't be a clown.

If they were monitoring results they would address the fact most of the top 15 in every world has lost to a 2-10 SIM team.

We also need to take into account Formation IQ ... that would tend to increase the SIMs YPC and reduce Human YPC for now.  Once human coaches practice some formations we might see this change a bit.
