A tennis match is the best of 5 sets.  To win a set, you must win 6 games (must win by two or there is a tiebreaker round).   Each game is scored  as 15; 30; 40; win.  If the score is 40-40, it is called deuce and the player who gets ahead by 2 wins the game.   What is confusing is they are putting the score of the current game first, followed by the score of all the sets, with the current set being last.

What site are you watching?  ESPN.com's got it right.

The Men play best of 5 sets, the Women play best of 3.

The 7-6 Scored tiebreakers with a number in parenthesis is what got me I think, I was counting that as separate games.... and couldn't figure out why some were playing more games / matches / sets / whatever than others.

Can't believe i'm actually watching tennis scores.
Stebe must win the final game to force a tiebreaker, being down 6-5 in the 2nd set

Jefferson needs Anderson to win, (which he is currently ahead) and Stebe to pull off an upset (which he is down 2 sets to none).   The likelihood that Adams wins is very high

Its official, Stebe lost.   Therefore Jefferson votes.


I have a challenge for tomorrow I will post later tonight.    Because of this and Jefferson's votes due tomorrow, I am requesting for Jefferson to vote today if at all possible.  I am giving leeway due to the conflicting post from yesterday.   I will post when I have all votes so idols can be played if desired.   If anyone is interested in playing an idol, but may not be able to under the confined timing, I will accept them in sitemail and announce it on their behalf after posting I have all votes.

Challenge:  NBA Draft:    

Each tribe is to submit a prediction of the outcome of the 1st Round of tomorrow's NBA draft.    You will receive 1 point for each one right for picks 1-5; 2 points for each pick right 6-10; and so forth so that you will receive 6 pts for picks 26-30 that are correct.    If you are able to get each section 100% correct you will receive bonus points equal to the point value for that section.   I will be looking for the player drafted.

1st Tiebreaker:    # of 1st Rounders used on foreign players (playing outside the U.S) 
2nd Tiebreaker:  Order of Submission
