Anyone out there with some links to teams who run out of SG with a high speed/elu QB?  I have dabbled with QB running but would like to see if anyone has had any success.

I have done quite a bit with WB....if that would help at all.

Austin in Stagg in the.  The QB was okay in stats but if you run it with your most elusive WR rushing "Often" he will do great.  Below the final season stats with Harrison being the feature rusher in a Shotgun offense with rushing being part of the game plan.  5.9 ypc rushing says to me its an effective style that could be effective at a majority rushing out of the SG

Thats an impressive total and on a winning team, talent is everywhere else as needed but that style seems to be effective.

That 68 STR at D3 for a WR helps also.

If you have always passing in your game plan, are you able to still run with the wide receiver?

Are you refering to the General Base Offense setting or the individual play settings?

If it's the General Base Offense setting, yes you can still call running plays which would include the WRs and QB (depending on rush level settings) since the lack of a RB.

If it's the individual play settings ( down and distance), then no.  Always Pass will always pass.

EDIT:  I reread the question.  I'm referring to Shotgun only.  If you plan to rush with the WRs, you have to set the rush level for them in the Depth Chart.  That determines their number of rushes regardless of formation used.

What I was talking about was individual play settings. So you're saying it can't be down in the individual play settings?

Very interesting but that WR is a beast

1st     Long     Shotgun    Always Pass    (100% Pass/No Runs)
Med      Shotgun    Balanced         (appx 50% Pass/50% Run)
Short     Shotgun   Always Run      (100% Run/No Pass)

This applies to all formations.  Regardless of the formation, Always Pass will not involve a run play, with or without the WR.

Except when the QB scrambles or is sacked - they're listed under 'Rushing' on the game stats page.  But yes, there are no designed runs when using Always Pass.

While this may be true the other guy rushing the ball out of SG (Poole) isn't really anywhere close in quality and is two years behind Harrison, and still average 4.3 ypc.

Not enough that I would rely totally on him but also not low enough to avoid 25% rush out of the SG
