That is correct.  

"Show me your TD's", Who would you like to play the U TURN on for the next PITSTOP?  (Which team do you want to give the disadvantage to?)

After they announce who they will give the UTURN to, I will then announce if this was a non-elimination leg.

I've just decided that I am not going to allow the first place team to UTURN the last place team.  It would be an easy cop out, so they don't upset anybody.

Therefore, Zerf and Turf.  I'm sorry to tell you that you have both been elininated from the race.

In the meanwhile.....

At the second PITSTOP of the race.  We have reached a DETOUR.  Teams will choose between two challenges, PASSING or SHOOTING.

In PASSING, teams will choose 6 NASCAR Drivers from the Sprint Cup race at Kansas sunday.  You will get the amount of Cup points that the driver receives from the race,

In SHOOTING, teams will choose 8 NBA basketball players from Sunday's games.  You will get a point for every point your player scores.


As a tiebreaker you will also send me the total pts scored in the game between the Lakers and the Thunder.  Closest will win.  The second tie breaker is the team that sends in their teams picks first.


The team that received the UTURN this week will receive a penalty of 6 points in this challenge.  So you better be thinking outside of the box.

Picks are to be sent to me by 11:59pm EST/ 8:59pm PST on SATURDAY.

The last place team MAY be eliminated

Well crap, I'm not much of a baseball person and riv has been MIA since agreeing to join up so I hope he is okay....but I do watch Nascar!   Go figure!!  LOL   Good luck guys!!

At this portion of the race it is difficult to determine who the greatest threats are to win the GD Amazing Race. So with the burden of being the first to U-Turn someone, I feel we will go with the team that is closest to us in the standings.
