I felt better about our I-P group.. maybe cause i picked I-P golfers and my brother picked R-Z lol

Navy buddies did R-Z and we picked Tiger ! Not a huge golf fan and just from the research I looked at R-Z had the golfers that I knew. Picks might be bland and unoriginal but just looking to hang on and make the next round.

At this point in the game there is no real incentive to worry about first.  Goal is just not to finish last.  I know this the first time doing this, so there is obviously going to be kinks, but honestly until you need to take a risk(ie uturned and are at a disadvantage) there is no real reason to.  The last challenge was the first one where doing better the challenge helped you on the next leg, but overall they have been independent of each other.  You want us to take risks, up the reward.
Case in point, in the last challange we didn't pick the Pirates because we were trying to take a risk to win the challange, we did it because we were behind a desperate to catch up.  If we had a similar point level to the other teams, our picks would have gone along the same lines as everyone else.

To follow that up, one way to get teams to have different picks...make us draft/auction the teams or players.  Just a thought.

2 non.. your lineup is 1 off of what we had as our 2nd option (we flipped a coin on what lineup to use.. my brothers lineup w/ tiger won out).. only difference in our 2nd lineup and your lineup is we had kevin na over watney but all others the same.. really like that lineup.. Kevin Na scared us b/c he hasnt played in a few tourneys b/c of back issues...we also were hesitant with westwood b/c of where he had to play 32 holes on sunday last week..

well at least I know we arent gonna be last regardless. There would be much more diversity if golf had more strong competitors week in and week out.

Looks like a lot of people did the same thing.  Went to the oddsmaker websites, picked the top 5-7 guys in each category and picked the group they liked the best.  I-P and R-Z were both way better than the first group.  Interesting split, 7-4 in favor of R-Z.  We shall see...

Our R-Z lineup would have been McIlroy, Woods, Simpson, Johnson and Fowler (It looks like 5 teams picked that exact combo.  So the team that turned that group in first is the only one of them with a chance to win the challenge and the team that turned them in last is the only team with a chance to lose the challenge...3 teams already know that can't win and they can't lose...mellow weekend for them I guess).  I think that group has a better shot at producing a winner of the tourney, but I like our I-P group to finish better overall.  Again, we shall see...
