RELIGION!  Yea or Neah!  Have at it!

I too am a atheist.    I got into a long argument one day because I was told that the reason I claim atheist is because I am afraid of being judged by god.  I had a good laugh at that person's expense.  Who was he to tell what I choose to believe.  I wasn't trying to tell him what he believes!

Now, don't get me wrong, I have read a good bit of pretty much each and every Holy book that exists, but I can't say that there's one thing I believe in. You could take a bit of this, and a bit of that, etc... and put together something I could get behind. 

But heck, I use the Jedi book of religion to base a lot of my beliefs, so 

I believe Yoda has said some of the wisest things ever pertaining to life!

Now some people use religion for the most vile of purposes. The Catholics burned people at the stake for not joining the Catholic church. The crusaders burned Jews in their synagogs when they wouldn't become Christians. Christians have been bloodthirsty for blood in the Middle East for revenge for things such as 9-11. The Japanese raped and pillaged other countries that didn't want to worship their Emporer. Muslims want to kill the infidels of this world because they won't join up. The list goes on and on. I say do unto others as you would have them do unto you and this world would be a better place.

Atheist

I am definitely a Christian, and I believe the Lord Jesus Christ died and rose again for my sins. I believe he lived as fully man, fully God, born of a virgin. And, I believe he will come back to this Earth with a vengeance to rescue his people and cast Satan into the lake of fire

+1. An atheist to 33 years old when through the course of about 8 months God chose to show me Himself in a very big and powerful way. At which time I was saved by His grace. 8 months you might ask? What can I say I'm a slow learner.

  Heh. Probably so . But it is a lot more passionate a subject whether you are yay or nay than listening to the 417th time what your opinion is on the upcoming 
update...
                      So to weigh in I am a devout agnostic with atheistic tendencies. I respect my brothers and sisters that believe. I just get P.O.'d to the MAX when they try 
and convert me.
                        My take on it is there probably aint no God and I don't give a tinkers damn if there is. 
                        I'll walk my own path. And if by a miracle I am judged after death I can accept that.

Faith is the acceptance of things unseen and unprovable, but you find to be acceptable and working for you.  Doesn't have to be defined by human verbage, but I believe there is a higher power that will assist you in making decisions if you let it.
