Yea, I hear ya on the system being pretty far off last year it felt.  Getting beat by a 450 rated team by 30, then playing them again and beating them by 50 seems way off to me.  Oh well, I have at least one more year in D3, either I'll stick with after that and try to build something, move up to D2 or just give up, haha.

Talked to GT and was ok with this babe trying to keep this event running. If any of you still have 5 spots open, we are going to try to set something up.

Good news tampa. If we can get his up and running in time with some strong teams, I'm in.

Ok. I am going to send out some Invites and see who is up for playing this this event. May only be 8-10 teams this go around. But At least we keep this thing running.

I would love to be part of it again... especially if the pool is made up of  some of the strongest teams.

I've already scheduled a good amount but I would love to keep doing it in year 3.
7/14/2010 9:17 AM
i'd be up for playing again next year if there is room.

Sent out Invites, for season 44.

We will check Bowdoin and  Wisconsin Eau Claire for next season.

Just a fair warning for season 43 invite takers. The pool, if even only half of the teams take a slot, will be filled with perennial NT teams.  So the pool will be very very  strong for season 43 if all goes well.

Last nights Matchups:

Webster @ Illinois - A lopside first loss for the #19 ranked Webster.  Illinois moved up in the rankings to #13 after this pounding.  Robert Klein of Illinois led all scorers with 18 points.

Philadelphia Biblical @ Bowdoin - Philly pulled out a improbable win against Bowdoin with our 6 freshmen.  We got lucky is a better way to put as Bowdoin was                                                                    having foul issues. Gilbert Poole of Bowdoin led all scoring with 21 points.  Philly didn't have one noteworthy player last night

Bethany @ Rivier - A typical 25 point victory for the 14th ranked Bethany squad.  They were led by So. C David Jay with 17 points.

Nebraska Weslyan @ Anna Maria - Anna Maria broke into the win column this season after being ranked number one in the preseason.  Carl Davis was the player                                                                  of the night with 15 points and 8 rebounds.

Wisconsin, Platteville, @ Cornell - Very close game with these teams with opposite records now.  James Cotter was player of the game scoring 16 points.

Wish I would have gotten in this tourney next season, will have a much better team, this year is going to be a struggle for sure, but I guess m RPI should be strong at least, haha.
