Which Conference? Topic

I'm looking to join a D2 conference next season, any suggestions?

USC you honestly and really ought to check out the WVIAC (West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference). We have 7 very active coaches, 4 of us have been around 7 plus seaons, the other 3 have been here 3/4 seasons. We are the #4 Conference RPI Conference right now and have usually 3/4 teams go to the NT every year and 2/3 go to the PIT every season.

If you want serious competition night in and night out it is tough to beat the Gulf South.

We're currently a top 3 Conference in the GLIAC and have 3 SIM teams currently residing in our conference.  Doesn't seem that any coaches may be leaving either.

3 teams that are open are

Ashland - http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=7225
Gannon - http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=7227
Lake Superior State http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=7231

Coaches corner is pretty active as well and competition is pretty harsh

USC, what offense/defense schemes are you looking to run and do you want a team that needs 1 or 2 recruits or a team that needs 5 or 6?

Gulf South is good.  The old school power conference.

Offense doesn't matter as long as its not fastbreak, defense doesn't matter. What I'm looking for is location, conference, and 4-5 open schollies so I can put my stamp on the team.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I can't wait till new coach signups. By the way, does anyone know when recruiting starts?

USC, just sent you a site mail.

Quick questions:

1. When new coach signups begin, the job change period for current coaches has already passed right?

2. Will I get a share of the postseason money the conference earned or no?

Thanks

The North American Athletic Association is a good conference to join as well.

USC,

To answer your questions, the answer is yes and yes.

Also, I thought you were re-joining as a returning coach, not a new coach. If so, you only have about 40 minutes to do so. If your coming in as a new coach, which doesn't make sense to me, you'll have until tuesday at 4PM.
