1 You use Rachel Maddow as your source. What if I got a clip of Rush or Beck and used it as a source? You would flip. Maddow is worse than Rush and not much better than Beck.

2 She uses some examples of what Pubs did now and later. What she does is compare things that are similar, but not really the same. My best example is she says Republicans supported Cap & Trade. No Republican ever supported a bill that would do what Obama is suggesting.

3 She labels as hypocrites anyone that accepts stimulus money. The feds already took the money from all the states. If you dont accept the money another state gets your tax dollars.

4 Of course not everything in the stimulus bill was a failure. Some projects were great. What was wrong with the bill was it cost $1 trillion dollars and delivered no where near that much. It was filled with agenda driven programs. Almost all the tax cuts went to areas that didnt help the economy. Obama's own people set standards that the bill would accomplish, like keeping unemployment below 8%, and it failed by Obama's standards. Afterwards Dems started cooking the books and saying that if there was no stimulus things would be worse. That is true, you can toss $1 trillion dollars out a window and make things better, but the cost in the long run would erase any gains.

Bush had faults, as did Reagan, Roosevelt or Jeffereson. He isnt as good as any of those guys. I may not have liked Roosevelts policies, but that guy accomplised more than most presidents, and possibly any!

Bush was a good president. He kept America together through very rough times. He wasnt perfect, but things could have been a lot worse.

Can you point to any democratic bill that is attacked by conservatives that you personally support? I doubt it but I hope you can prove me wrong.

This wasn't an ambush I wanted to get the other side's take on the broadcast. As for Bush I think you are wrong he was so bad that he will eventually be seen as one of the worst in the history of this country.

I missed our duels they are far too infrequent now.

I am not a big fan of financial institutions. Banks arnt losing to China because they are over regulated.

I want Dick Cheney writing the Auto Industry regulations, but as far as I am concerned Anton can write the financial institution regulations.

Some of the stuff has some validity to it. There is always less support for some things if you are out of power. I really believe that much of it is similar but different. Cap and Trade seems like the best example.

Bush was nowhere near being a good President.  His policies plunged America into tough times both foreign and domestic.  And don't bring up 9/11 because anyone can talk tough when they have the biggest gun in the room.

As with Reagan, his economic policies came down hard on the middle and lower classes while making the rich richer and protecting corporate interests overseas.

For ordinary Americans, his presidency was a disaster; for the military/industrial/banking complex, he got the job done.
