Ryan Howard has apparently finally realized that it is "hittin' season", as Charlie would say.
Nice. That's the kind of thing that needs to happen until Utley gets back.

His first half was actually really good when you realize he never got on one of his bigtime rolls.

Assuming Blanton's done, that may be the most I've ever been annoyed with a "quality start."  Well, I'm sure it's not, but maybe the most in recent memory.

Nevermind, he's not done yet.  Yay.

Alright, Joe, you can have your cheeseburgers now.

Walt Frazier said Wilt Chamberlain would average 75 points per game in today's NBA.  That is riiiiiiiidiculous.
Not really.

Obviously it is a stupid argument since we could never prove it one way or the other...

I would guess more like 25 though.

I have absolutely no idea how one could think he could average 75.  He couldn't even do that in his day against much, much, much more inferior players.

I will acquire a #1/#2 SP one way or another, as I think that's really the only thing I need to bump up to legit contender status.
Hopefully your HR experience taught you well.

Although no one trades SP1s.
Unless you overpay like moy has, or you get them as a prospect.
Fred Ward, Aaron Davies..... Bing Wells was the biggest steal I've ever landed.

Surprsingly statistically ward has been my best pitcher in Jackson the last 4 seasons. Both he and Wells were essential in the season 10 WS season. They were unstoppable in the playoffs. That alone means I didn't overpay - even though I did.

btw - Bolivar is gonna be really good in the pros.
I tried to move Yorvit for Bolivar this season.
you were close to getting him - If I didn't get Davies I was going to go after Yorvit with a similar (maybe the same) deal

In this day and age he probably would have slept with 100,000 women... not 10,000.

Name 1 person who could hold him under 30.

Probably 75% of the centers in the NBA.

All the same people that held Shaq in his prime under 30.
