Tea Party 4-18-11 Topic

1 I think the Obama's level of knowledge is debatable. Sherrod said she was getting white house pressure. How can you explain that statement?

2 FOX is a scapegoat for anything now. Fox caused the Tea Party, Fox got sherrod fired, Fox is spreading racism, Fox is why Obama cant get anything passed...etc. The DEM position now is that the whole Sherrod issue is FOX's fault. Under impartial analysis FOX isnt any more biased than MSNBC, but no one from the Pub side would ever publicly blame them for a Pub screw up.

3 There is another talking point that Jones, ACORN and all the other issues that resulted in Dem embarresment are now actually lies. They were all innocent and Fox lied about them and forced Dems to act against them. I bring this up because you cant let a lie like that sit. In washington if you say something 3 times it becomes a fact.

I am so glad that it is getting close to November. Its going to be interesting so see how the candidates supported by the Tea Party fare against the Dems, and how the old guard Republican candidates fare versus the Dems. It would be cool to see Pelosi beat the old guard and Reid lose to Susan Angle. I think the voter turnout will be much better in Nevada than in California.

if you think a nut case like Susan Angle in the Senate is a good thing then I really think you need to be confined before you do harm to yourself.

Nuts how?

Privatize SS?
Abolish Dept of Education?
Audit the government?
Supports Arizona like legislation?

What exactly is crazy here?

Sharron Angle, not Susan. But I really don't think she has a chance, even against an incumbent as vulnerable as Reid. Having a media strategy of ******* off as many members of the media as you can might get you celebrity status on the national stage, but it won't help you win elections where positive local news coverage is gold.

Now, Linda McMahon on the other hand... there's a candidate you shouldn't underestimate, even in Connecticut.

Go big or go home. Like the media is going to support a Tea Party activist.

The main thing is TP people are energized. If hse can get the vote out she can win this. Last poll put her down only 2 points 48-46. She is a virtual unknown. She can do this!

I hope the Republicans nominate a Palin/Angle ticket in 2012. Palin will quit half way through the campaign, and Angle will spend the whole time walking away from reporters' questions in a low speed chase not seen since the days of O.J. Simpson. Oh, the spectacle!

Wow...I made a big mistake. I was told that the candidate supported by the Tea Party in California lost to the Republican brass's pick. I didnt check that out and I am wrong. Tea Party supporters in California pulled it off. There is a chance that Pelosi can be defeated. I just checked him out, and I really like John Dennis....lol...This is great. The Libertarians are taking over the Republican Party. It would be awesome to see both Angle and Dennis defeat the media to win seats in the House.

I do not want to rain on your parade mykids but have you listened to the positions Angle has taken? This is not a question of right or left but is about the survival of the economy of Nevada. I am not a water carrier for Harry so replacing him with someone is not the worst thing that could happen in Nov. BUT, having said that do you really think the chicken lady makes any sense? If you teabaggers are so fired up to take over then how about some candidates who have a basic understanding of reality? There may be some intelligent options to the world we live in but so far you people show me nothing.

Your not raining on my parade. How are the policies that Reid has supported, helping the economy of Nevada today?

How do your feelings that Angle is a chicken lady factor in to help Nevada? Her physical looks are going to have an effect on Nevada?

Tea Party reality is:
Repeal and Replace Obamacare. (Reduces insurance rates)
Eliminate coverage mandates. (Reduces insurance rates and care cost)
Reduce taxes. (Maybe I can send Jr to college)
Border Security. (Enforce the immigration law or change it)
Private property rights. (City council cant give my land to Walmart)
Right to bear arms. (My poor friends in New York get robbed because they cant afford $500 a year for a permit)

Sharron Angle supports those realities. If you find them unintelligent, I support your right to feel that way.
