Well, specifically at what he was rated at the time the deals went down.  He had a major injury that hurt him.

Part of his ERA problems, same as they were when Bing was on my team, was a matter of C, defense, and park.

Bing had a 60+ day injury immidiately after you traded him to me. I think he had 1 start before going down. Excuses Excuses.

Getting a steal based on ratings doesn't mean much to me. Performance does. I have a 78/82 overall RP (Carasone) pitching with a 3 yr avg ML ERA of 5.50 - the ratings look great but he still sucks. Don't you agree?

How do you screw up the math on Carasone's ERA? His career numbers are right there, totaled up for you.

That's generally true...but Fregoes's teams were loaded with lefties.  Absolutely destroyed the righties that I had built for everyone else.

You should trade me Carasone.  For real.

And Carasone's OVR is inflated by his ridiculous DUR/STA combo - his performance ratings are solid, and RP ERA's are notoriously unreliable due to small samples.

Yeah, some teams require some extra effort.  Generally, I like my lineup to only have 1-3 RH bats and my SPs to be 2 RHers and 1 LH for the playoffs though.

Seriously moy, you should trade rape me with Carasone.  I am way dumber than you and absolutely would use that piece of trash on my team.

robusk - I'm working out a deal with someone else. carasone may be a part of it - if not I think this will be his breakout season. I'm putting him at Setup A with Elcano.

cheez - pitchers with high durability are awesome imo (I just realized this recently, after signing elcano) - they recover quicker and can get back on the mound more frequently. Thats why starters generally have 20s-30s Dur so they don't start back to back games at 100 fatigue. Hawkins 15 stam is garbage but his 80 something dur gets him out there 3-4 games in a row in some cases at 100%. something to consider... or not.
