I can never tell rlahann and robusk apart
7/28/2010 10:27 AM
rlahann sent me a TP for carasone at the same time robusk sends a TC for Carasone. I reject the TP from rlahann and start calling robusk an idiot in TC thinking its rlahann. Definitely one of my finer moments.

moy23 7/28/2010 10:25 AM heh - rlahann did. your better half.
robusk 7/28/2010 10:13 AM I didn't offer you a deal.
moy23 7/28/2010 10:12 AM the one you offered in the deal - the 2B
robusk 7/28/2010 10:08 AM guy's
robusk 7/28/2010 10:08 AM What guys splits?
moy23 7/28/2010 9:58 AM I'm not trading anyone until I get the one player I want which could happen soon. And that guys splits were terrible.
robusk 7/28/2010 9:48 AM Seriously, what do you want?
7/28/2010 10:28 AM
I think you can allow some of the other factors (CN/PW/vL/vR) to come down if you have a high BE.  I may be wrong as I do very little analysis of HBD.

Well, we are both vultures evidently.
7/28/2010 10:29 AM
High batting eye gets you lots of walks.
7/28/2010 10:30 AM
Perfect timing by the two of you. I lol'd once I figured out what was going on.

For sure.  High BE does a ton.

From what I can tell though, the primary factor affecting strikeouts from the PP's perspective is contact...  and except for inflating homerun numbers and working with ballpark factors, contact feels pretty useless to me.

Not moy's level of groundbreaking stuff, but a lot of owners really don't understand batting eye.  Probably more in other worlds I have been in over $ though.

Keep posting like this Moy, and I'm going to start claiming Shtickless time as professional development.
Nice.
Hann's moybashing has gotten a load of thumbs from me lately

That was actually poor form on my part...Robusk called that one first.
7/28/2010 10:34 AM

I'd much rather have the ball hit in play than a strikeout, which is why I like a good contact number.
