they announced on a radio station here this morning that Sly Stallone, is writing, directing and producing a movie based on two Indian (as in Apu, not Sitting Bull) pitchers the Pirates signed last year after they won a baseball competition called the "Million Dollar Arm".

It's not bad...dude TM got is nothing special.
Yep, just a slight boost to my lineup with a chain reaction defensive improvement.  He gets a 4/5 starter, a reliever he wanted, and a solid platoon OF.  Far from rape, and I had hoped to pay less.
Bret traded away a quarter (not a dollar, but still a good player) for a nickel, a penny, and a used tissue.  What the ****!?  "a reliever he wanted"?!?!?!?
Probably any team would have given up more for Barkley.
I offered him a guy who was an AS last season, a future #3 and some crappy RP he wanted.

He sat on it for a couple days until I realized Barkley wasn't that great and pulled it.

That was my offer I sent to bret that he didn't accept because he was trying to decide between the two deals.  It was mostly something I was considering specifically due to longterm salary concerns...  but I then decided I could get more for that package.
