Swamp's problem is his pathological need to be acknowledged.  The more you guys ignore/block him, the more desperate he becomes to be noticed.  There are probably some abandonment issues from his childhood that need to be worked through.

Yeah, but it's still weird to watch it unfold. Most people seek out groups on the internet they can feel a part of in some fashion. Even trolls just go away eventually once people get sick of using them as a pinata.

swamp doesn't just seek attention, he deliberately seeks negative attention. Which is why I semi-jokingly tie it in to his masochism every once in a while. It's hard to imagine they aren't rooted in the same thing, psychologically.

When you are a fan of the Pittsburg Penguins you seek out people like you. When you crave political debate you seek out people with a wide range of views and discuss politics with them.

As i have always said you have no contact with inteligent people who disagree with you. I come as a huge shock to you.

It is time to stand loud and proud and explain in a new thread why you are so wrong it scares me. To defend who I am and try to get back to the way we were, everyone discussing politics. No banning!

Just because you can block, does not mean you should block. It is legal to do lots of things.

I still cant believe that some people on this board are proud that they are banning certain political speech! That somehow they win if they get less information.
