true point cheez. it's sad they can't force the Nuttings to sell the team to someone that will actually try and do something to better them.
If the system wasn't set up to allow them to be one of the most profitable franchises year in and year out despite no attempt to field a quality product, it probably wouldn't be an issue.
I know, it truly is a shame because I enjoy seeing games at PNC Park, but to spend money on a team that doesn't spend money on itself just doesn't make sense. There was so much money spent to build that stadium and when you can't even sell out opening day, wow.Â
At least, I root for a team where fans realize they will get some talent in there even if they don't win.Â
Here, they don't even try to upgrade the roster. It is funny to hear next year will be the turning point for the past 8yrs. and yet again, I heard it this morning. "Those 5 rookies will make a difference next season, but only if they get a manager here that keeps them motivated."Â
