It's shenanigans, to say the least, but it's light collusion and doesn't really seem like anything you can punish the guy for.

The only power a commissioner has in this league is to boot somebody, anyway. It's not like I can fine him and reduce his budget by a million this season or something. And with the way WIS is sucking lately, it's too hard to lose a long-term owner when the chances of finding an adequate replacement are miniscule. We haven't had much success with hop-ons, so I'd rather not totally alienate any of the ones who have been there consistently.

The shenanigans would be paying $ to have someone pick up a Type B free agent..and I'm not a fan of the huge cash transfers in trades..but those have always been allowed so  that, not so much.

Its specifically banned in the TOS--its a bit more than light collusion. I understand the issue with filling up Shtickless--I had the same problem with 'Shtickless 2'. Everyone assumes we all will side with each other and attack the outsiders. I even had to fight that perception in KP with all the Shtickless guys in there. The solution isnt to allow the collusion but to improve the perception..Otherwise we'll just have a revolving door of replacements, which wont help the reputation.

But that deal is probably the most obviously veto-worthy I have ever seen. It was obvious collusion, and it didnt get vetoed. So, anything goes in Shtickless HBD. Sure its mostly filled with SHofers, and thats the only reason Im likely staying. If it were a world filled with random dudes and that stuff happened, I would think alot of us wouldnt stay.

From a true HBD standpoint, the world sucks. The saving grace for most of us is we still like competing (or trying to-in my case) with each other and giving each other ****.

I enjoy shtickless hbd a ton. I also think its competitive now that gin sucks... err, doesn't try.... I mean Ace won the prior WS. The world is pretty easygoing w/ vetoing. I hate when coaches look at the trade without considering team needs and then ***** and moan about how unfair it is. Hey if I want to trade 3 stars for 1 'superstar' I probably have the depth to do that, or I wouldn't offer/accept the deal. I also like the sarcasm - lots of **** talking in the world chat with those that can take as well as dish. In DM all they do is ***** about some guys fatigued minor league staff or a some jamoke starting out the season 5-40ish. Its also cool to talk it out in this forum - we all know each others players (like Hootie and Keller, right?). Face it dm... you'd be bored in here when we chat $ talk.

i'm just going to wait for the bribe offers to start coming in.

Funny thing is, even when I fixed my fatigue in DM, I couldnt buy a win. I went on a decent stretch before my lates long losing streak. I'll finish DM above .250 but will miss the 2 season win requirement. At that point, I'll probably go without a fight.

KP is obviously the elite world amongst the Shtickless populated worlds. The AL is ridiculously competitive.

You are supposed to keep your minors competitive. its not for you..I knda f'd mine up by being against the cap last season. We will only have 2-3 openings which I've found owners for..
