We need one owner for the Post War Progressive League, which started in 1946 and is currently in it's 23rd season (1968). We are at about the halfway mark in 1968, having completed 82 games. The 1968 season ends on March 28. We are currently posting keepers for 1969.

One of our owners is withdrawing completely from WIS for personal reasons.

The team available is the Boston Red Sox. The Red Sox currently are 43-39 in the 1968 season, 3rd in an extremely competitive AL East division only 4 games out of first (the 4th place team is only 2 games behind the Red Sox).
The team roster is posted below.

If interested, please post below and I will give you immediate access to the league's private forum, which has league rules and a preliminary 1969 available player list. .Because this is a progressive league, please do not apply unless you are willing to commit to at least 4 seasons.

Boston Red Sox 1969 roster. There are 28 players listed because 3 players come off the IR list in 1969. The 4 players shown in bold red face have minimal seasons remaining, and should almost certainly be cut. This would result in a roster of 24 players and several other players should probably also be cut at the discretion of the new owner.

This has been a stable league with excellent owners and good competitive balance. The Red Sox have been very competitive for the last 6 seasons.

Coming up on the 1970 and 1980 decades-many great rookies. With only 16 teams, plenty of talent to spread around.

If available I'd like to have the team.
