This is a progressive league that begins with seasons 1946 and 1976.

Draft times will be 10AM ET to 10PM ET everyday. Only players that are WIS eligible for a certain draft are available. If you're unavailable for your draft time send proxys to other available owners, particularly owners drafting after you. If teams miss their draft times, picks can be made up anytime. If selections aren't made by the following draft day the commish has the right to make up these picks.

Drafts will be based on reverse order of standings after 120 games. 1-24, 1-24. Teams must have a minimum 30 wins at this point or will lose one draft position for every win below this plateau.

Cap is $255M. No to AAA, WW and DH. Yes to trades including draft choices. Draft choices can only be traded one year ahead. After the trade deadline, draft picks can be traded in the upcoming draft and the following season draft.

Owners are resposible for checking the keeper list and the available player list. If an owner drafts a player already owned, that owner will have to draft again ASAP.

If RL team changes park you must change park. Use RL team city name. Use any nickname.

Teams will post unlimited protected lists at the transaction deadline including 2 spots for injured players or those who miss WIS eligible seasons.

There is an Add/Drop thread for those who need to make any changes to their rosters. This takes place after the draft is complete 10AMET on a first come first served basis. Dropped players can be picked up by other teams. Please don't use the Add/Drop thread thread until the draft is completed.

ML players not allowed to play, for trade purposes only.

Unused draft choices, (slots) can be traded within reason. Example; Team ONE needs only 1 player in draft, can trade draft slot 2 to TEAM 2 for a future pick.

It appears that there will be at least 3 more openings due to several controversial things mostly involving one owner...the same owner that caused 3-4 openings a couple seasons ago with controversial actions he took.  Contact hockeyhead if you're interested in a team; contact me if you want to know what you're getting into before joining.

don't think this is a fair post as it presents only one side best i can tell you is that i've been in two of hockeyheads progressives and as far as i'm concerned they are well run(a few bumps and an occasional unhappy owner as progressives do have at times)

I'm sorry.  There's nothing factually incorrect there.  If anything I was too fair by not calling out the owner publicly or pointing out the specific things that weren't done to fix the mess.

Thanks hartjh14, I see you're recruiting for me. I need more positive comments though!

Believe me, I want to fill the league as much as anybody.  It's a good league overall and pretty competitive, but people have the right to know what they are committing to.  I appreciate the one thing you did to address future situations, but I really would have appreciated not allowing it to happen in the first place, which you did.  I imagine the departing owners feel the same.

I'd love to add some good owners that will prevent things like this from happening in the future.  The best way to ensure that is to make sure they know what happened.  The league will be great going forward if we add the right people.  I can't be a lot more positive than that right now.

modellscks2 is right.  This is a highly competitive league that has six different champions over the past six seasons.  If you want a league where you can build a winner and if you like passionate owners, this is the league for you.  Unfortunately, some of the owners have said they are going to quit after a trade that they found unacceptable was approved by the league when put to a vote.  Hart has stayed, but was one of those that believed the trade was unacceptable and feels very, very strongly about it.  His is, though, just one perspective.  I hope folks will give the league a chance - it's one of the good ones.
