The OTAT is a progressive that started with the 1901 season and moves forward one season at a time. We are about to start the 1912 season. Selected All Timers were added to the rookie class each season from 1901-1910. The All Timers started with their WIS rookie season as well. For example, in 1901 all time greats whose WIS rookie season was 1921, 1931, 1941, 1951 etc. were added, in 1902 players from 1922, 1932, 1942, 1952 etc. were added and so on. The last season for the addition of all time players was 1910 so the league is now a straight progressive league with the upcoming season being 1912, the 11th season. However most of the all-time players have not yet retired so there is a very strong group of undrafted players who will be available in addition to the 1912 rookies. As all time players reach the end of their career, they will be available again during their real life WIS rookie season, i.e a 1921 player added to the 1901 season will be available again as a rookie when we reach 1921.In the case where a player played more than 20 years, he will be considered to have retired the season before his real life rookie season . This rule will first come into play for the 1921 season.
The 1910 season was the last season in which all time stars were added. Beginning in 1911, only players whose WIS rookie season was during the current season will be added.
The opening in this league is for the Pittsburgh Pirates who currently have a 48-97 (.331) record. The current owner has decided to reduce his WIS commitments. If interested, I will give you immediate access to the league's private forumThe current owner has already posted keepers for the team but those are of course subject to change by a new owner. We have 17 games left in the season, not all owners have yet posted keepers, and it will be a couple of weeks before the 1912 draft starts.
