We have one opening in the 1913/1973 Progressive league. This is a 20 team double season progressive that started with the 1901/1961 season and will soon be drafting for it 1913/73 (13th) season. The available team is the San Francisco Giants. The team has had the same owner for the first 12 years and he is reducing his WIS commitments.Because of the double season format, there is plenty of talent available. There are more than 600 players available in the 1913/1973 draft, including 85 rookies and more than 400 undrafted players, with only 93 draft picks needed by the 20 teams.

The team's record for 1912/1972 was 76-86 with 7 games left in the season. Posted below is the keeper list for the 1913/1973 season, and actual batting statistics and pitching statistics of the current roster players for the 1913/1973 season.

I will give interested owners access to the league's private forum which contains league rules and where the list of available players for the 1913/1973 season will be posted in the next couple of days.

The draft will be starting on Monday April 16. A new owner will be able to make all draft picks (or the remaining picks if the draft has started). As a bonus, once the team is entered I will purchase a gift certificate for the next season provided that the new owner commits to at least 2 additional seasons.

OK great-the draft starts Monday. I'll give you immediate access to the private forum. The draft thread has the draft schedule, available player list, league rules and other information. I will substitute your name on the draft schedule as owner of the Giants tomorrow
