Here are some things I'd like to see to make managing teams easier or just to add more enjoyment to the game:

1. Have a place to see all the ML boxscores for a given cycle, not just my own. If I'm coming down the stretch and watching the out-of-town scoreboard, or just seeing what other teams are doing, it'd be nice to have a page with links to all the pbp pages in one place.

2. Have an option to receive a note in my inbox when anyone on my watch list gets a rating change. I like to keep track of my prospects pretty closely, and it'd be nice to know right away when another cycle has completed.

3. When I'm looking at teams' depth charts, player name searches, or trade proposal rosters, add the number of years as a pro as a column on the main display. This would help me quickly determine who the actual prospects are, and who are 5th and 6th year pros with little to no developing left to do.

4. Allow me to add more than one type of icon to a player's name when I add a note to their page. I use that yellow paper icon to distinguish real prospects from minor league filler, and it would be nice to be able to refine that further, or make other easily visible distinctions (such as DITRs, international signings, or players received in recent trades).

5. Put a note in my inbox when my waiver claims aren't successful. Sometimes I get forgetful and wonder whatever happened to that claim I put in. Bonus points if the note lists the end result of the waiver claim (i.e. who did get the claim).

Some good suggestions here.

As a variation on number 4, just allow different color post-its/icons. We can use yellow for general notes, red for DITR, blue for Int'l signings, or whatever. Whether we designate these things ourselves or WhatIf sets the relationship, it would be useful either way.

Some very good suggestions here...The more tid bit mail I get the more I have to check in on...I love having something to do each cycle with each team I run!

I think #1 is already accomplished with: World Office --> News -->  Game Highlights, if I understand it correctly.

I'm not sure if this is what the OP intended, but I read it as (and would like) a page like the Game Highlights page with links to the Play-by-play, but without the result. So during that pennant run I can look at the play-by-play of the team(s) I am chasing or are chasing me without knowing the result in advance.

It could be as easy as adding a "hide results" option like that which we have for our own squads.

In the "HBD Update Suggestions" thread in the regular HBD forum, I proposed a newspaper-like page that would show scores from all of "yesterdays" games (along with winning/losing pitchers and their W/L records, and home runs), along with a list of "todays" games with scheduled starting pitchers and their W/L records and ERA's.

Gotcha. Play-by-play versus the full box score. That would be nice.
I'd also like to see the next game's expected starting pitchers.

Not sure where to add this, but I would LOVE some type of note when players are added to the waiver wire.  I don't always remember to check, and if I got some type of note, it would surely help

Personally there are too much correnspondents/notes. I'd be fine getting rid of all of it.

So when a team waives 20 guys, you want 20 notes? It's called paying attention and checking every 2 days. You follow that, you won't miss a thing.

And a note for a ratings change? You're kidding right?

Here's one, somewhat NL specific. It may involve too much logic, but I'll let the programmers decide that. It's also not life ending.

You're changing your line up. The level you are viewing depends on the last time you made a change (ie. you changed AA last time, it will give you the AA view the next time)

It would be nice if that view defaulted to the current pitching matchup for that level. ie. if there is a LH pitcher you are facing, and it's DH rules, you get that view. If you change to a different level and the matchup changes, the view changes.

It's somewhat NL specific because if you go from a minor league view, which has a DH, to the major league view, which most times does not, you end up having to go to the default HBD view to see the match up then back into the line up change (assuming you didn't retain that info, which for me is 100% of the time)

It's not a big thing. It's a nice thing.

yeah that's a bit much getting one for every player

but what if you could opt in for notes on only certain players...maybe like guys you placed on a prospect list, say up to 10 or 20...

it'd be nice but wouldn't be a real earth shattering thing...

That's what he said. Only for guys on his watch list. Doesn't seem unreasonable.
