Contract screen on player cards Topic

Please change the default screen when you click on "contracts" on a player's card "contract" and not "season."  "Contract"gives all the relevent info such as bonuses, salaries, options..ectera.

Bad suggestion.  The "contract" page doesn't tell you what season the contract is in, so you would more often than not need to switch over to the "season" screen to see how many seasons are left on the contract.

Example: Quickly, tell me which is the current season for this player's contract:

  Contracts
# Fran Owner Type 1 2 3 4 5 Option No-Trade Bonus Date
1 AUS NONE MILB $8K - - - - - N $0 6/25/2007
2 WAS NONE MLB $343K - - - - - N $0 9/24/2007
3 AUS NONE MLB $57K - - - - - N $0 1/1/2008
4 AUS NONE MLB $343K - - - - - N $0 4/4/2008
5 AUS NONE MLB $360K - - - - - N $0 7/7/2008
6 AUS noccolo MLB $1.6M - - - - - N $0 10/17/2008
7 AUS noccolo MLB $5.6M $5.6M $5.6M $5.6M - - N $0 1/20/2009
8 PIT lido9613 MLB $8.0M $8.0M $8.0M $8.0M $6.0M T N $5.0M 2/22/2010

A better solution would be to put the option (T, P or M) on the "season" page.  That would be much more meaningful, and would probably eliminate most of the need to look at the "contract" page.

I am tired of seeing a "huge international signing" and having to make multiple clicks to see how huge.

Understood, but if they made your switch, you'd quickly get tired of having to make multiple clicks to clearly see how much longer someone is signed. Well, maybe you wouldn't, but I would - and I do that much more often than I look up international bonuses.

The answer, as tec suggested, would be to add the missing info onto the season view somehow.

off the top of my head, i would say he is in season 2 going into season 3.  look at the date the contract was signed.  But a suggestion would be to add what season the contract was signed in on the "contract" instead of the date, because who really cares about what real world date a player signed.
