There should be some sort of notification on the free agents page for when you've exceeded the maximum of 50 targeted players.

Ideally, there'd be a countdown number at the top of the page, but I could see how that might be too difficult/taxing to implement. But there should at least be a pop-up notification, similar to when you've reached five offers on the minor-league free agents page.

I think you misunderstand the meaning of "target".

If you have more than 50, you might as well be staring at the full list of FAs.

I'm trolling for a bargain at a couple of positions for one team, so I've listed a bunch of guys who fit my minimum criteria there, along with a couple of my Type A/B guys and a handful of studs that I'd like to see where they end up.

In all fairness, 50 does seem to be like a lot.    I'm sure I've hit upwards of 30 and said "Damn, that's a lot of targets."  Of course, I'm not bidding on them, I'm just waiting to see who starts asking for less.   So, in essence, I could wait two days to make a list.

It bears mentioning that I'm not asking for the target number to be increased, guys. I'm just interested to see who signs the big-ticket FA and whether anyone decent drops their asking price. And I don't like wasting time adding players who aren't going to show up on my target list, is all.

Only on the target page. What I'm asking for is some sort of notification while you're on the free agent report page, so you aren't "targeting" guys for naught.

I see what you are saying, we didn't add it to that page because it significantly increases the complexity and the performance of the query that we use to pull back the data. It's not a simple change coupled with the fact that there are only 5 users out of roughly 4,000 that use the feature that have 50 player's on their list it's not worth the extra overhead on the FA report.

So you're saying this will never happen, then? Thanks for the explanation.
