I would like to be able to see the overall player rating for free agents and impending free agents. It would be really nice to be able to project what guys are going to bring compensation picks without having to look at every players card and it would be really helpful to be able to sort players based on overall just like we can do with draft prospects. I don't think it's too much to ask that the most important rating be visible on the chart. Thank  you.

You say most important rating, most would say least important rating.

I think it would be nice if Type A/B free agents had a designation like the R5 players.   Just tell me who'll cost a comp pick at a glance. 

I don't think this is really wha timf is asking but it would be nice to see on the FA screen after the FA resigning period is over.

It is the most important rating as far as FA compensation designation is concerned.

Agreed that beyond that, it's not very meaningful.

Yea, I'm ,now putting it all together; Mike idea addresses the need really, assuming you want the overall to determine Type A or B...then just have the A or B in the free agent summary list.

It is the single most important rating when trying to get an idea of overall value. I`m not saying it is the most accurate rating but it is intended to be the most important. Really, it doesn`t matter if it is the most important or the least important, why isn`t it there in the first place is really what I`m trying to figure out. They show overall when sorting draft prospects so it only makes sense to show it for the free agents too.
